You didn't think all heroes were adults did you? Billy Batson is now a 15 year old boy who was given the great power to become Shazam just a year earlier. He transforms into an adult, but still keeps his 15 year old mind. He can also change back at any time. He had faced a man named Doctor Sivana, who created weapons and was obsessed with finding magic. He actually had some magic of his own. An accident gave him the ability to see magic out of one of his eyes. With this ability, he was able to see the kid that Shazam really was. But even after defeating him, a new threat arose. Another person chosen for Billy's power, a man named Black Adam. Black Adam had the same abilities as Shazam, only he used it for the wrong reasons. Billy tried to get to him at all attempts, but Black Adam had years of experience. But as he learned his new abilities, Billy has readied himself for the future battles with him and has become stronger at each attempt. There would be another battle with him, but not like Billy would expect. It was the weekend and Billy was sleeping in. Should've known better with his foster sister Darci. That girl was a ball of energy. She opened the door, raced over and jumped onto the bed, making Billy jump awake. He felt like his heart was going a hundred miles an hour. "What the heck Darci?" He asked rubbing the sleep out of his eyes. "Why are you in my room?" Darci giggled. "Come on sleepyhead, we've gotta get ready remember?" She asked. Billy got out of bed and walked around. "I'm literally still asleep in my head." He said. "What are you talking about?" Darci explained that they were going to the zoo today. Just then, his foster brother Freddy came into the room. "Darci, I'm sure he can do it on his own." He said. Darci giggled excitedly and ran out of the room. "Is she always gonna do that?" Billy asked as he grabbed a pair of clothes and began changing into them. Freddy shrugged and laughed. "You'll just have to see I guess." He said. "Perk up, we'll need ya if Black Adam decides to show up." Billy got done changing and looked at Freddy. "You do remember he almost killed me last time right?" He asked. "But you can still beat him." Freddy said. "Yeah if I actually knew how." Billy said. The two of them then went down to eat breakfast with the rest of the family. Mary, Pedro, and Victor were already at the table while Darci ran into her seat. Freddy and Billy both sat in their seats as their parents came in to give them their breakfast. "I packed some water in case you guys get thirsty." The mother said. "I hope you have a lot of fun." Billy looked at her confused. "You mean you guys aren't coming?" He asked. "We both have work to do that just now got to us." The father said. He explained that the work wasn't really avoidable, but they didn't wanna stop the kids from having fun. "We paid for you guys to get in already and they will still expect you at the gate." The mother said. "Until the work is done, Mary and Billy are in charge." Billy was so surprised at this he almost choked on his food. Out of all the things he's done in past foster homes, he still remains surprised over half the things these people let him do. "You actually trust me on this?" He asked. The mother nodded and Mary looked at him as she left the room. "Don't worry." She said. "The only one who'll really need watching is Darci." The kids then all started laughing as they finished their breakfast. As they left the house Billy didn't really seem as excited as the others about the zoo. It wasn't that he didn't like it there, it had just been so long since the last time he came. The last time he had come here, Billy was with his birth parents. Now that he thought about it, this meant the trips from now on wouldn't be the same. The kids entered the zoo and began walking around and looking at all the animals. The kids were walking around when they passed by a cage holding a large tiger inside. Billy immediately paused and walked over to it. As Mary kept walking with the others, Freddy looked over and noticed Billy staring at the tiger and slipped away from the group to go to him. He went over to Billy's side and looked at the tiger with him. He then noticed Billy smile. He hadn't done that much since after being Shazam for a while. "What's it's name?" He asked Billy. Billy chuckled and looked at him, then back at the tiger. "Tawky Tawny." He said. He then reached into his pocket and pulled out a picture of his and his parents in front of the cage. "I'm surprised he's still here." Billy said. "Aside from the picture, Tawky Tawny's the only thing left I have to remember my parents." Freddy was about to ask about what his parents were like, but stopped himself. He didn't think Billy would wanna talk about it. "Do you wanna stay for a while?" He asked. Billy was so caught up in old memories, he didn't even realize how far Mary went with the others. "We should uh..." He said. "We should go catch up." Freddy agreed and the two of them headed off. After walking not that far, Billy found himself turning around to see Tawky Tawny one last time. "See you again old friend." He said before continuing on. The two of them finally caught up with the others and continued on with the rest of the trip. They spent lunch and the rest of the day hanging out and having fun. Sadly the day couldn't be good for long. Towards the afternoon there was a loud banging noise, causing everyone to run away and leave the zoo. "What's going on?" Mary asked. Billy looked around and suddenly got wide eyed when he saw Black Adam fly into the air as he looked around. "You guys get out of here." He said to the others. "I'll meet you back at the house." Billy immediately raced off as the kids ran off to escape.
