Billy ran around to find a place to transform. It was hard with all the people running around. As soon as he found a clear spot, Billy immediately raced over. "Why can't I just have one normal day?" He asked himself. He then looked around to see if anyone was around and saw everything was clear. "Shazam!" He shouted. A large lightning strike hit him, transforming himself into Shazam. "How about we take this fight somewhere else Black Adam?" He asked as he flew towards him. "You're pathetic keeping up with your attempts to defeat me boy." Black Adam replied. Shazam grabbed Black Adam, throwing him to another part of the city. "Don't be foolish." Black Adam said. "Why not?" Shazam asked. "I'm just getting started." He shot over and started throwing punches. Black Adam was able to dodge him, as well as throw a few of his own. "Again and again you try." He said to Shazam. "But always you will fail." He knocked Shazam to the ground and hovered over him. "Maybe, but that's not your choice." Shazam said as he got to his feet. Black Adam smirked and flew off, Shazam immediately followed. The two of them continued their battle in the city as everyone either ran for cover or video taped everything. "Okay I love supers as much as the next guy, but you people are crazy." Shazam said. He immediately swooped in and grabbed the people taking videos, taking them into buildings. "Excuse me Shazam, I need to ask you some questions." One reporter said as she grabbed a camera crew. "Holy Moly." Shazam thought to himself. "Sorry mam, not the time." He said before flying back out. He looked around for Black Adam who surprised him with an attack from behind. Black Adam then grabbed Shazam, sending them both into the clouds. Shazam wasn't sure what to do, he barely survived the last time this happened. He looked around and realized that the clouds completely covered them. No one could see them. "Shazam!" He shouted. Another lightning strike hit him, turning him back into Billy and damaging Black Adam. Black Adam lost his grip and Billy began to fall back to the city. Billy suddenly realized he was losing his air and looked at how fast he was falling. "I really should've thought this through." He told himself. As he fell, Billy kept reminding himself to stay focused. "Really hope this works." He said. "Shazam!" Another lightning strike transformed him, and just in time. He flew back onto the ground and looked up, not seeing Black Adam. The citizens cheered as they surrounded him behind a group of reporters. "Shazam, do you believe that Black Adam is gone for good?" One reporter asked. "What about the Justice League, have you had any contact with them?" Another asked. All Shazam wanted to do was go home and make sure everyone was okay. "You know what I'd love to stay but I got something to do." He said before flying off and out of anyone's view. He landed in an alleyway and looked around. "Shazam!" He said. A lightning strike hit him and changed him back to Billy. Billy then walked to a nearby phone booth and called the house. "Hello?" Freddy's voice answered. Billy sighed with relief. "Glad you guys made it home." He said to Freddy. He told him what happened and that if their parents got home before he did he was going to pick up some food. After ending the call, Billy went to pick up some food. It took a while to figure out what everyone wanted but he had an idea. On his way to pick up some food, Billy heard something behind him and looked around. There was nothing around. Thinking he was just hearing things, he decided to just keep going. After walking for a few minutes, he heard the noise again. Billy started to speed up to the point where he was running. He didn't care what he was hearing, he just wanted to get out of the city. A thought kept repeating in his head telling him that this could be Black Adam again. Billy was not looking forward to facing him again already. He kept on running, not even noticing that he passed where he was getting food. When he realized it was too late and he was already a few blocks away. The noises kept getting louder and louder, making Billy feel more and more scared. He raced across the street and into the subway station. The station was empty but Billy felt like he wasn't alone. The noise continued to get louder than ever. He raced towards the other stairs at the end of the station. He immediately raced up the stairs. The noise suddenly stopped. Billy looked around and didn't see anything. He was about to leave when he turned around and began to step. His foot completely missed the steps and he tumbled down the stairs and hit his head on the ground. As Billy's vision became blurred, a figure appeared waving a flashlight. "Can you hear me." A man's voice asked him. "Stay with me now." Billy wasn't able to keep himself awake when he suddenly blacked out. A few minutes later back at the house, the parents were home and waiting for Billy when the phone rang. The mother went over and answered the phone. "Hello?" She answered. It was a policeman calling him about Billy. "He's not in trouble is he?" She asked. "No mam." The officer replied. "I'm afraid he's in the hospital." The mother was so worried she became speechless. "I'll be right there." She said before ending the call. "Everyone get in the car now." She said to everyone as she rushed everyone to the car. "Is Billy okay?" Mary asked. "I don't know honey." The mother asked. "We just need to get over there now." The family got into the vehicle and headed straight to the hospital.
