Chanyeol can't find it in himself to concentrate to the professor talking about the derivatives of x in front when all his mind can think about is the midget.

It's still a wonder for Chanyeol how he just learned one day, without a warning, that he already likes the Baekhyun he's used to bully. But then, maybe it's because the way Baekhyun talked back at him that made Chanyeol realized how unique he is or maybe it's because the way he always gave them an insulting smile that made him realized how beautiful he is. Either way, Chanyeol will vote for the first time they met that he believes contributed a lot to what he's feeling right now towards the midget.

The first semester was nearing to end that time when Chanyeol was asked by Professor Kim to go down the second floor and get the papers he need from Professor Do. The reason why Professor Kim chose him, he can't remember now.

Chanyeol did what he was told. It wasn't a long walk since his room was only a floor higher than Professor Do's.

Standing there outside the room, the class was so quiet, he remembers. It was odd for him since his classmates were far from being the disciplined ones. He found Professor Do on his table talking with someone. Chanyeol first noticed his short height compared to him and his brown fluffy hair (Baekhyun's hair is brown that time). When Professor Do saw Chanyeol standing there awkwardly on the door, he beamed, "Chanyeol, come in."

So Chanyeol entered the room and as soon as he did, he heard gasps and squeals came from the class. The small guy looked at his way and then their eyes met. Chanyeol was so sure that he rolled his eyes at him that time. Furrowing his brows, Chanyeol get the papers from Professor Do and looked at the brown-haired man again before leaving. There was something different from the way he looked at him that Chanyeol felt utterly curious as to why he was looking at him like that—Chanyeol didn't know but when he cornered him on the cafeteria where he fortunately saw him again, he found out his name was Byun Baekhyun and he learned Baekhyun knew he's a bully and he hated him for that.

Surprised, Chanyeol let go of him. But days after that, Chanyeol found it amusing somehow. He told Kai and Sehun about him and then there, they started to annoy the hell out of him. Chanyeol found it cute, really, especially when Baekhyun would talk back at him without the need to think twice. Chanyeol thought he's pretty smart and brave, making their countless arguments seemed to be more exciting for him. He remembered calling him midget that time and surprisingly, Baekhyun was quick to make a comeback, calling him dumbass one because he's the leader of the dumbass two and three which was for Kai and Sehun, respectively, according to him.

He really didn't like it at first but now, in the present time, when he realized he had already fallen for his enemy—as cliché as it sounds—he has been liking to be called dumbass one by him and him only.

Just as he is about to imagine what it'd be like to be Byun Baekhyun's boyfriend, the tan male beside him makes an unnecessary noise that pulls him out of his trance.

"Master." Kai whispers, side-eyeing the professor in front not to get caught.

Baffled, Chanyeol gives him a what-the-heck-do-you-want look. Kai shows him a crumpled paper and when Chanyeol is about to ask what he's going to do with it, the younger throws it onto his table.

Chanyeol, knowing that something is written in the paper, straightens it until he's able to read Kai's bad handwriting.
