Drew's POV
I woke up. Ugh. Nooooo! I hold Aria closer. She was poking me. I sighed as I finally decided to open my eyes. "Fine! You win!" I growled. I got up. Aria giggled. "Go get dressed for work." She laughed. I sighed as I got up. I got dressed quickly. Then I grabbed my uniform. Then I went downstairs and made us some toast and eggs. We ate fast and then started walking to work. Well... I was more so dragged. "What's the theme today?" I asked. She hummed. "I think that it is cat day!" She said laughing at the irony. I sighed in annoyance. "What's the place called again?" I asked her. "Oh! Sweetie's Café!" She said giggling. "WHAT! You never told me that we were going to a maid Café!" I yelled. She looked at me confused. "So? And it's a multi themed café." She corrected. "I don't want too work their!" I growled. "Listen, it's one of the most popular places that people hang out at!" She said huffing. Her cheeks puffed up and she crossed her arms over her chest and walked ahead of me. She looked adorable. I went up behind her and hugged her. Then I forced her onto my shoulders. She was still mad at me. I smiled and held on to her right hand. She didn't move it. She laid her head on mine and let her other hand fall down towards me. I smiled. Then I continued the way to the stupid Café. I don't get along with the owners son. He is a warlock. His name is Nox. He's the same age as me.We just don't get a long. We arrived at the Café. I let Aria slip off my shoulders. I looked back too see the person greeting us. I stopped. I turned around and covered Arias eyes. "H-Hey! Drew!" She complained. "Sh! Keep your head down! She'll see us!" I hissed. "Who?" She asked. "Loner boy...?" Cass asked. I felt Aria tense. I turned around covering her. She looked me up and down. I've been taking care of myself since Aria woke up. I now look like my old self. "Is... Aria... ok?" She asked hesitantly. "Drew who is it?" Aria asked. So she could smell her but she didn't know who it was. All she knew was that she was another super natural. Aria stepped around me glaring. Then her eyes fell on Cass. She froze. They both watched each other. Cass was the first one to snap out of it. "I'm um... I'm glad! That your alright!" Cass said awkwardly. Aria shook her head and looked at her. "Uh... yeah." She said. Then she grabbed my hand and we walked around her. It wasn't cat day. It was beach day. Girls in swimsuits and guys in swim trunks walked around serving early customers. Nox saw us and smiled at Aria. He walked over to us and grabbed Arias hand smiling. "Miss Fish! We are so glad that you have decided to work here!" He said smiling. Aria smiled back. I glared at him. "You will be a server. Go and change, swimsuits are in the back!" He said smiling. She nodded. "What will Drew be doing?" She asked. I held onto her hand tighter. "Oh..." He said acknowledging my existence. "He can also serve." He said dismissively. I nodded. Then he led us in back. I got dressed in light lilac swim trunks with a white-yellow Hawaiian flower design on them. I walked out and waited for Aria. She came out with a light purple bikini on. The top tied around her neck and had a light lilac see through flowing fabric leading to the back. The cords were decorated with the same Hawaiian flowers. The tips of her blonde hair were died a pastel blue that looked good with the suit. She giggled and smiled at me. "C'mon Drew! We have tables!" She said giggling. I let her pull me along as I admired her beauty. How could I have gotten so lucky. Thank you moon goddess. I smiled as I felt her hand slip into mine. "You guys will be waiting the same tables but not the same time please." Cass said. I glared at her and watched her shrivel. I started waiting tables. I was trying to go by unnoticed. I saw Nox talking to Aria and growled. Aria nodded and got on stage and started singing. *cue music* "So do you do any sports? Or do you work out..?" A lady asked. I shrugged. "No not really, I like to go on runs." I told her. She smiled. I glance up and admire my mates beautiful voice. How'd I get so lucky? Then I noticed that I wasn't the only male admiring her. Then the gravity hit me. Aria was in a bikini surrounded by other males and she is the center of attention right now. I growled annoyed. How'd I get so unlucky! What did I do too deserve this! I hate you moon goddess! She's mine! Then I tuned back into the conversation. "I love too run! Especially on the beach! Maybe we could go running together sometime! Then we could go grab some-" she said but I cut her off. "I apologize but can you excuse me for a second?" I asked. Aria was done singing and I could feel her her worry. She was dealing with some male customers who looked like they were doing something less desirable for Aria. I walked up behind her. I grabbed her by the waist and held her close too me. "Is there a problem here?" I asked the males. They looked at me annoyed. "Are they bothering you princess?" I asked her. "What are you her boyfriend?" One of the customers asked. I turned to him and smiled politely. Then I sent him a cold glare as I continued too smile. "For your sakes, your lucky I'm not." I told them. They looked in between themselves and me. I could feel the fear radiating off them like a heat wave. I let go of Aria, and put my hands on both side of the tables and lowered my head to their level. "Scram." I growled. They nodded, payed, then quickly left. I hate my job. I turn too Aria. I walked towards her and hug her. "Tell me if you have anymore customers like that." I whispered. She nodded her head. I smiled and kissed her hair line. "Your mine. And no one else's." I told her smiling. Then I let go of her and walked back over to the lady.
