Chapter 6 \\ Almost "Couple Goals"

Jay's POV

The next week was full of pretty much the same thing. the only difference was that Levi and i now talked more and were polite to each other in the hall way.

how ever this new found friendship made a lot of the girls in my class rather annoyed and i got a whole lot of shoulder shoves and dirty glares but i didn't care it's not like were together so they don't have to worry the fake pretty little heads about it.

but i will admit that this stupid boy was growing on me. I just wish there was something i could do for him so that his dad would back off...... hmmmm.

"Penny for your thoughts" i heard Levi say in my ear. i was so lost in my own mind that i didn't notice him walk up to me. "oh, hey, just thinking about how girls could possible like your butt ugly face" i replied with a laugh and a giggle.

"right Jay your dead" and with that i took off running down the hall in hopes to loose him in the corridors or the crowd.

But to no avail, he caught me in no time just as i made it out the double doors to the gym. however i don't think he was quite ready to come to such an abrupt halt as he crashed and toppled us over. luckily someone had left the padded mats out so we were fine and just lying there laughing.

"Levi your heavy get your fat a** off of me!" as soon as those words left my moth Levi smirked and i realized that was a big mistake cause instead of slightly holding himself up he just collapsed putting is full weight onto me.

two can play this game Levi....

"Levi.... get off.... you hefalump! its hard to breath" i fake gasped out "nope not until you apologize for calling me fat jay" was his reply and could all but hear his smirk.

That's when i did it. because his face couldn't see mine with the way he was on top of me i slowed my breathing shut my eyes and pretended to pass out.

"Jay?" the a pause "jay!" he said again but a little louder and i felt the relief of his weight shifting from on top of me.

"Jay!! what the heck i'm so sorry please wake up" he sounded desperate now so i decided i would put him out of his misery.

"HEY!" i yelled out whilst jumping on top of him sending him to the floor. His face was priceless and i just lost it laughing.

"Payback's a B***h hey!" it took him a second but when he realized that i had tricked him he just sat there smiling at me as i laughed until i realized and then felt slightly uncomfortable.

"what are you smiling at i just duped you real good?"

"you should smile more often Jay it suits you"

was all he said before standing and leaving to go to his class.

How dare that loser get the last laugh was my initial last thought but then i realized that Levi Hunter was actually a nice guy.

that lunch i sat with my normal group under the bleachers but i wasn't really there if you know what i mean and Jessie seemed to notice my lack of attention.

"Hey Jay what gotten into you? you've barely spoken a word and have let ya ciggy(slang for cigarette) burn out without one drag?"

Dammit what the hell am i supposed to say to that?

"Huhh... I'm just distracted thinking about.... huhh stuff" it was lame but it was all i had. luckily the bell rang and i think that was the first time i was ever early to a class.
