Chapter 2

(sighs) Where is-

"Y/n!!!!"

There he is, the person that I have been waiting for, the guy that I wanted to see, my best friend since childhood... Jeon Jungkook

"I missed you!!" He hugged me and I froze. Yeah I know what you're thinking, why is he here? Well he texted me a while ago and said that their date got cancelled because Hyerin had an emergency, so he decided to just go here after asking me if I'm free and yeah he went he-

"Hello?!! Earth to Y/n??!!" Jungkook waved his hands infront of my eyes "Yah! Stop doing that there are people looking!!" I said to him "Hehehe sorry" he said "Anyways how are you?" He asked me

"I'm doing fine, thank you, how about you and Hyerin?" I asked him "Oh us? Oh were doing fine!" He smiled widely at me "Oh really? Thats... Great!!" I gave him a wide, fake smile. "Well, I'm going to go order something first, would you like anything to eat or drink?" He asked me "Uh no thanks I already ate" I replied "Oh, okay then" Then he left.

(Sighs) good thing he didn't notice my fake smile.(sighs) I guess I really don't have a chance huh? Why can't I just forget everything?! Why did this happend to me??!! I did nothing wrong..

Just then Jungkook came back with two drinks and two cookies "Why did you order two drinks and two cookies?" I asked him "Oh? My bad, I didn't know I ordered two of them" He pretended to be surprised "Tsk, I know you ordered two cookies and drinks in purpose"

"(Gasps) are you saying that I'm a liar" He asked me "You said that, not me..... But anyways thanks for buying me my favorite drink and a cookie." "You're welcome" He said

While eating we talked about high school, and it turns out you three will be going to the same school next week. After some time, I said goodbye to him because it was already becoming dark.

When I got home my mom asked me "Where were you
Y/n?" I replied "I was just out with my friend, mom" "Oh? And who was that friend of yours?" She asked me "Its J-Jungkook" "WHAT??!!!" I heard her footsteps coming towards me. "WHAT HAPPEND??!! DID SOMETHING BAD HAPPEND?!! DID YOU CONFESS?!!" She asked me while yelling.

"No mom, nothing happend, and they're still together so how can I confess? And I heard from him that we will be attending at the same school" I told her "(gasps) Will you be okay??" She looks at me worriedly "I'll be okay mom dont worry" I assured her.

"Won't you cry?" She asked me "Maybe I will or maybe I won't, who knows?" I replied "But if you see them together you might get hurt even more.." She said "I know mom, but I need to get used to it, so that I can....finally accept the truth" I smiled sadly and mom noticed it "(sighs) if you say so, goodnight sweetheart.." She said "Goodnight mom"

Then I went to my room and locked it... Then I started to cry, I still liked him, why? Out of all of the boys out there, why did I have to like my best friend.. why? And then reality hit me, next week, I'm going to meet him, but this time, he will be with his girlfriend..

I went to bed, and after a few hours, I didn't notice that I already drifted to sleep

Time skip to Monday
(First day of school)

I guess I'll be meeting them later, I did my morning routine and went out of the house after saying goodbye to mom.

While I was walking I heard my name being called. I turned around and saw my freind, no its not Jungkook and its not Hyerin too...

He is.....
