Chapter 26

"H-hello?"

Jungkook's POV

"Yah! Jungkookie! Where are you?!" Namjoon asked, worry could be heard in his voice. "W-what do you mean? I'm at the house.... Sleeping.... When you woke me up.." I bravely said trying not show him I was lying.

"Stop lying! I saw that you weren't in the room! And is Y/n with you?!" Namjoon said, his voice audible enough for Y/n to also hear. "Yes, I'm here Joonie!" Y/n shouted so she could be heard. 'What- Joonie? Why does he also have a nickname? I'm the only one who has a nickname- Chill Jungkook. CHILL.

"Good. Make sure you guys come home safely. Alright?" Namjoon said while setting my phone on speaker. "Alright-" I was cut of by Y/n speaking to him "Ok Joonie! You should sleep now! Good Night!" She said and ended the call.

"I guess we should call it a night hm?" She asked me and was supposed to walk away.... But I stopped her. "Wait" I said and held out my habd to stop her from walking away from me.

Y/n's POV

"Wait" He said and stopped me from walking away from him. I looked back at him and saw his eyes looking at me. "Why? Is there something wrong Kook?" I asked while looking directly at his eyes.

"I-I wanted to tell you something" He stuttered and started avoiding my eyes. "Well? Tell me. We don't have all night." I said and crossed my arms at him while waiting for his reply.

We stood there for minutes and I suddenly got impatient. "(sighs) If you're not going to say anything, I'm going to go now" I said and turned my back at him to start walking away from him. "I-I like you" He said, though I think, I wasn't supposed to hear it.

"Pardon?" I asked and stopped walking and turned towards him. "I l-like you, alright?" He repeated, but this time, it was more audible, he also blushed, but it was soon gone. As soon as I heard those three words, it was my turn to blush.

Well of course, if I were the old me, I would've fainted but..... This past few days... I felt like... My feelings were... Changing... Well, not completely.... But little by little. I still like Jungkook of course... But I also have feelings for... Namjoon

'I mean, who wouldn't like Namjoon? He's cute, handsome, smart- no scratch that, he's a genius! He loves reading books like me, he produces music.... He's just a TOTAL PACKAGE!'

'And Jungkook, he's handsome and cute too! He loves games, He loves movies, he sings, he dances. He's also a TOTAL PACKAGE!'

'Gosh, what is happening to me?! Liking two guys at the same time?! I know I'm crazy.... But am I really that crazy?! Am I just overreacting? Or maybe I'm no-'

"Hello? Earth to Y/n?" Jungkook said which made me go back to reality and saw him waving his hands infront of my eyes. "H-huh?" I said and looked at him. "I said I l-like you" He said then scratched his head while looking away.

"I'm s-sorry Jungkook, but I-I-" I was cut off by Jungkook. "I-I know, y-you don't like me" He said while looking at his fingers. I took his fingers in my hand. "N-no Jungkook, I was going to say that... I'm not entirely sure of what my feelings are for you" I said and he looked up, his eyes glinted with hope.

"L-let's just go Kook" I said and tried to remove my hand from him, but he refused. "Then let me court you.." He said and I stopped moving. 'What did he just say?'. "I think you're making a wrong move Kook" I said which made him confused.

"What do you mean? That deciding that I will court you is a wrong move?" He said while tilting his head to the side. "You just had a break-up with Hyerin... And I think you're just using me... As your rebound.." I said and he flinched suddenly.

"How can yous say that Y/n? You.... You know I wouldn't... I'm not that type of person..." He said and I could see some tears forming in his eyes. "I'm sorry... But I choose to say the painful truth to you, instead of saying comforting lies." I said and looked away.

"But I'm not lying! I was just stupid! So stupid..... That I was looking for other girls, when the girl that I've always wanted was just beside me the whole time! Stupid.. Because I chose the other one, instead of you! Stupid .. Because I followed my brain instead of my heart.." He said with his tears niw dropping.

"Kookie.." I said and hugged him. After a few minutes, he finally calmed down. He looked up at me, with those, puffy, red, eyes which made my heart broke.

"Will you give me a chance Y/n?"
