Ding dong! The doorbell woke me up that morning. Sure enough it was Brianna, with her make-up kit.
"If you're going to be a superstar, you need a makeover." she said smiling, as we ran up the stairs. I didn't even try to resist. Once she had her mind set, there wasn't any stopping her. Kind of like me.
She started with some foundation, then started applying mascara and eyeshadow. Before I knew it I was a different person. I loved it. She was right, if I was going to have my own show, I was going to have to look like it. Later, we practiced some lines and by the end of the day I had the script memorized.

It was finally August, and today was the day I was going to send in my audition tape. I was extremely nervous. There's no telling if they would love me or hate me. I hoped for the best, though. What's the worst that could happen?
The whole day, my audition tape was all I could thing about. If I was to get the call, I'd probably get it sometime in September. I glanced in the mirror once again. Gorgeous. Maybe the new look would help convince them? I couldn't help but imagine the worst. Maybe they would hate me. No. I tried to take my mind of things with acting out a few monologues. It was no use. For the first time, I just wished time would fly by.
