Chapter 44 ( final )

Lucy's Pov

A few months has passed after the last battle and Sting and I have been together since. Fairy tail and I have reconciled, we're pretty much their allies but also rivals. But what's odd is that it's too quiet... the world is too peaceful... It's like all the evil dudes are taking a break from their evil plan. Something must be up.

" Whatchu thinking, Luce~" Someone whispered into my ear, covering my eyes with his hands, interrupting my train of thoughts.

" Ew, stop acting all lovey dovey. I can't the mushiness. " Minerva voice echoed through out the guild hall, even before I could reply Sting, making everyone turn their attention to us and laughed.

We broke free due to the embarrassment, avoiding eye contact while blushing until someone shouted...

" GO GET A ROOM—! "

" What. Said.That. " I demanded, dark aura seeping-out of me, a shadow cast over my face.

Everyone immediately stopped laughing and stood still in silent, knowing that my inner bitch has arrived. After a few minutes of silent, someone shouted, " he did " while pointing at the one and only Rogue.

" Rogue... " I muttered, walking towards him with my fists clenched while others just stood there in horror and that's when Rogue knew he fked up, " You're so dead. "

After some punching sessions later~~

" S-S-So w-what's wrong " A bruised and beaten Rogue asked, stuttering a little after being punched in the jaw.

I just look at him in confusion, tilting my head to the side, frowning a little.

" What were you thinking earlier? You looked so serious man. " Sting butted in the conversation along with Minerva and Yukino.

" Oh...okay... " I drifted off, trying to remember what I was thinking. It took me a while to finally answer due to my poor memory, " Don't you guys think that it's a little odd that there's nothing bad going on—like war and all. "

" Isn't that a good thing, Lucy? " Yukino asked, her eyebrows knitted together while others just look at me in confusion.

" No. Something must be up, they must be planning for something big or even worse... " I begun, pacing around the empty guild hall as it was late at night and others went back home.

" We'll my lil Lucy's prediction will never be wrong. " Sting blurted out, earning a small nod from Rogue.

" And we're not just gonna sit here and let it happen, " Minerva added, getting up, putting her hands on her waist.  " Let's go! "

" We need some assistance—let's go to Fairy Tail, " I shouted, punching a fist in the air in determination.

Third Person Pov

FairyTail's guild door was kicked opened, revealing the Lucy and the others—The best mages from Sabertooth.

" Lucy—"

" Stop drinking and get your asses outta there, " Lucy demanded, a shadow cast over her eyes. No one dares to disobey her, knowing that she was dead serious. " We got some ass to kick! "

" A-Aye! " They replied in fear, running out of the guild, abandoning all their drinks, ready to punch some ass.

" Daddy, what happened next? Please continue the story! Did mummy get to kick some ass?! " A young little girl with bright blonde haired and big hazel eyes asked enthusiastically, jumping up and down on the bed.

" Okay okay. Sweetie. Calm down, we did get to kick some ass. And after that, we went around the world kicking asses and protecting the lives of the people, saving their ass. " The young father laughed, smiling at his excited daughter, causing his blue eyes to squint a little. " Now sleep, will ya? It's a little late. "

" Okay daddy... " The little girl yawned and mumbled something under her breath before falling asleep. But the dad heard it as he was a dragon slayer.

" I miss mummy... "

" Yeah, daddy misses her too. " The father gently patted the little girl's head, looking out of the window in her room and muttered, " But let's have faith in mummy and wait for her arrival. "

" Mummy?! " The same little girl exclaimed, smiling like there's no tomorrow, running up the hug a blonde haired woman with bright hazel eyes, " I knew that you would come back! Daddy told me to have faith in you and I did! I'm so proud of you! You've saved thousands of lives and made it out alive!! "

" Of course! I will do whatever it takes to come back alive to you and your daddy. " She smiled, patting the little girl's head, making a soft yet intense eye contact with the dad was smiling at his wife, feeling all proud of her, " Because mummy loves you both. "

" I wanna be like you and daddy! You guys are awesome and cool and strong a-an-and coool! " She shouted enthusiastically, jumping up and down in delight.

" One day. One day, you will be as powerful as us or even more powerful than mummy and daddy. It doesn't matter if you're powerful or not—weak or strong. " She begun, " What really matters is who your heart. "

The little girl tilted her head to the side, confused, " Heart..? "

" Have you heard of the term—Good wins Evil? " The mother asked, squatting to her daughter's level.

The little girl nodding her head eagerly, " I know I know! I've heard of many stories about these! The goods always wins because they are nice, strong and kind hearted, right? "

" No sweetie. You don't have to be strong to be powerful. It is the will and determination to protect your loved ones makes you powerful. " The father joined, laughing at his baby girl, " And that is why people who are kind hearted always wins. They have the determination to protect the people's lives and their loved ones. " The father and mother said in unison.

" Ohh~ " She blurted out, still trying to process everything. " I get it now! When I'm older, I will protect both of ya, cause you're my loved ones! I will also have the will and determination to protect both of you!! " She exclaimed, smiling at her proud parents, tackling them into a big tight hug.
