(This chapter takes place a few days later)
Today's the day I think in my head while rising from my bed. I quickly get ready and make sure i'm presentable for my audition. After I was done I raced downstairs to find my mom making breakfast.
"Hey sweetie" she said
"Is breakfast ready" I asked
"Almost' She responded
As I was waiting I started to do my morning routine. I first started off with jumping jacks. After I did around 20 I started stretching. When I was done with that I did 20 sit up and 20 push-ups.
"Breakfast is served" mom told me
I strut over to the table and sit down next to my mother. I quicky chow down my pancakes and eggs.
"Don't eat so fast" she advised
"I'm sorry I'm just nervous" I admitted
I listened to my mothers advise and started eating slower. All these thoughts flew through my head. What if I screwed up my whole audition. What if i make a complete fool out of myself. My mom could tell I was extremely nevrous. She tried to make me feel better but honestly her words just flew in one ear and out the other. Affter we finally finished eating I grabbed my stuff and got in the car. Of course my mom was taking forever. I ended up sitting in the car for ten minutes before she got in. We drove around thirty minutes to the audition.
"Billy Elliot auditions this way" she read off a sign
I closed my eyes and took a breath. I can do this I whispered to myself. I opened the door and walked in.
