I was the only mortal child of. Out of my four sisters my beauty was the most exceptional to behold. My hair long thick silky and black, the pride of my beauty . It was my most prised possession. At the beging of my life, my mother thought I was cursed with beauty. The only person who scorned at my immense beauty was a certain shadow I saw when I slept. As I grew up and the years flew by I became more than gorgeous. Men from everywhere wanted to know me, but I had a dream.
My life as I had chosen was going to be spent in the temple of Athena, the great goddess Athena. As I grew into a woman, I told my parents about my dream to be a priestess in the temple of Athena. They seemed to take it well though they would have preferred me to get married and have daughters as beautiful as myself. They gave me their blessings and I set off for my life. Little did I know I will never be the same. Athena asked me to stay in the temple and accepted me but I felt a feeling of jealousy and hatred in the way she spoke and looked at me. At the moment, Athena was in a heavy battle with the god of the sea Posidon. Even though the war had subsided, they were still brutal and evil to each other.
