Skylar

As soon as I pull up to my normal spot on the outskirts of the forest, I'm immediately greeted with the smell of trees, green leaves, and all sorts of nature. I take in the sight of green and brown everywhere around me as far as the eye can see. I breathe in the scent of green grass and tree bark. I smile as I think about how much this forest has helped me throughout pretty much my whole life.

I grab my book, homework, phone, and headphones and start walking into the depths of the forest. As I walk deeper, I start to feel a sense of... fear? Terror? The hairs on the back of my neck stand up, getting goosebumps up and down my slim figure. I abruptly turn my body towards a pair of bushes, as I heard a rustling sound. In the midst of rustling, a growl, sort of demonic, is heard within the bushes.

Being the stupid human I am, I walk towards this sound.

"Wow, Sky, you really are dumb." I think to myself as I approach the two large bushes. I push large branches out of my line of sight.

As I do so, I hear the same growl as I did before, but to the right side of me. I slowly turn my head with a fearful expression to be faced with a dog-like creature about six foot in height. I gape at the creature in terror. How is this possible? In all the years I've come here, I've never seen or heard anything close resembling this.

Suddenly, a light appears behind the... dog? It starts to levitate into the air, paws in front of its face with its lower body curling into a ball form. Its brown, curly fur disappears from its body, and forms two human legs and arms. Finished with his transformation, his forest green eyes peer into mine, almost looking right through me into my soul.

He was beautiful. His chestnut hair was untamed, but still put together, eyes a beautiful shade of green, almost the same color as the trees. He had pink, heart-shaped lips that looked so soft and kissable. His jawline cut to perfection. You could tell he was strong as he looked like a gym trainer. I bet he could lift three of me.

I realized my mouth was wide open and quickly shut it. I fidgeted awkwardly. I'm still terrified. I don't know this man, and I just saw him as dog! Wolf? Something!

"You shouldn't be here, little one," he said slowly. He's British too? Can this man get anymore perfect?

"Um-I-uh-you-" I stuttered in fear.

He chuckled and sighed. "Oh little one. You just can't learn," the unknown man crossed his huge, tattooed arms. "However, since you now know about me, I can't just let you go. Come closer little one. I don't bite... hard," he smirked as I started to back away from him.

Something was telling me to go to him. I don't really want to find out what would happen if I ran. So I stepped closer to him. He lifted his arms and I flinched.

"What's wrong, little one? Scared?" he taunted. I looked down. His large hand moved to my chin and brought my head up to look him in the eyes. "Its alright, little one. I won't hurt you... yet," he smiled menacingly. I trembled in terror.

"Come on little one. It's time to bring you to the others." he demanded, grabbing my hand and pulling me towards him.

'There's others?' I thought to myself.

"Of course there's others, I'm not the only one." he laughed. It sounded heavenly, his laugh.

'Sky, really? This man is kidnapping you and you're thinking about his laugh? How stupid are you?' my subconscious mocks me.

'Shut up!' I told her.

"W-who a-ar-are y-you?" I stuttered like an idiot, afraid he'd snap if I said anything wrong.
