Hell

Rosaline wasn't sure how long it had been since she'd been brought to Hell, but she knew by the color of her bruises and the empty feeling in her stomach that it had been a few days. Nobody had come in since Ruth had that first day, leaving Rosaline alone and wondering what Lucifer's plan was exactly. He didn't seem to want to hurt her but was willing to if she wouldn't give him what he wanted.

She had decided that she wasn't going to let that scare her though, if she gave into that fear she would unravel. No, she would let the pain and fear effect her once she was free. If there was one thing she was sure of it was that Warren and the others would be coming for her. He had made his feelings for her quite clear, but he still had the duty of protecting her and he would honor that.

Pacing around the room she had to think of something to do or she would slowly go insane. There was nothing the room though unless she wanted to play with rocks. Again. She let out a sigh of annoyance.

"Come on! The 'great' king of Hell has me as a prisoner and all he does is try to break me with silence!" Her voice echoed through the cavern.

The door swung open and Damon walked in with another Obsidian demon, a smile on his face. The demon walked up to her and undid the chain around her ankle. When she just stood there Damon motioned for her to come forward.

"You didn't want the silent treatment right?"

Rosaline just stared at him.

"Fine, stay, but your about to be in excruciating pain from those wounds on your back."

"What did you give me?"

"Something to ease the pain. It's been a few hours and the effects are about to ware off."

With that he turned out of the room, not waiting for her to follow. A sudden sharp pain in her back had her running out the door to catch up to him.

"Smart choice."

Silence filled the space between them, giving Rosaline a chance to look at her surroundings. The walkway they were on was made if the same dark rocks that had covered every inch of her cell and the slight smell of sulfur told her that they weren't that deep into Hell. The sounds of other captives moaning in pain filled the air and she wondered how many people they were holding, she probably knew a few of them.

She looked over at Damon, his long multicolored hair was pulled back from his face, showing off his sharp features and beard. She could vaguely remember him from before he had fallen. His hair had been kept short and his face had been kept smooth, not even a slight stubble on his perfect jaw. He'd been a fierce warrior and a devout follower of God, till he'd met Lucifer.

The moment he'd seen the Archangel he had lost himself to him. It wasn't till after they'd both fallen though that Lucifer had started to show his true feelings for Damon as well.

"You've changed."

Damon shrugged, "Everyone does. Including you apparently," his eyes shifted to her,  "Abbadon has told us about you and War."

Rosaline's cheeks heated and she looked down at the ground. The demon had seen everything she'd done, yet somehow she hadn't sensed him at all. She wanted to blame it on Michael for taking her angel power from her, but she had a feeling that Abbadon had been taught a few tricks from someone else.

They rounded a corner and Damon opened the first door they came to.

"What the fuck do you mean she's dead?"

Lucifer slammed his hands down on the table in the middle of the room, his ice blue eyes glowing in anger. The fallen angel Zachariah was standing across the table from him cowering.
