Chapter 1

Keith's POV

Lance was chillin on the couch and I was leaning on the wall,staring off into space. "Keith?" Lance asked.

"Earth to Keith!" He yelled. "Huh?" I asked. "You ok?" Lance asked. "I'm fine. Just thinking about something I lost." I answered.

"What did you loose?" Lance asked. "Not what. Who." I said. "Sorry. Who did you loose?" Lance asked.

"My sister. Kylie. Kylie Kogane." I answered as I looked down. "Were you close?" Lance asked. "Very." I said. "When did you loose her?" Lance asked.

"When I was 10." I answered. "I'm so sorry." Lance said. "It's ok. It's not your fault. It's mine." I said. Then I walked out of the room.

That night I sat on my bed,thinking about Kylie. I miss my babygirl. I wish I could see her smile again,I wish I could see her face,I wish she was back in my life.

Flashback. To when Keith was 10 and Kylie was 7.

"Kylie!" I shouted. "Keith help!!" Kylie shouted.  I rushed to her side. She was bleeding from her leg. It was broken. "Kylie!" I yelled. She sat up and hugged me. "I'm scared." She cried.

"It'll be ok. I promise." I said as I hugged her back. I placed my hands on her cheeks. "We gotta run." I said. I picked her up and ran. A guard stopped us. "Sir. Their kids." The guard said.

"We don't want any trouble we just wanna go." I said. "But... yes sir." The guard said. He raised his gun. "Oh crap!" I said. I turned around but the guard shot us and me and my sister fell. He ran off.

I ran to Kylie. She was shot. She was crying. "Kylie. Come on baby stay with me." I said. She cried harder. "I know baby I know." I said. Then she stopped breathing. "Kylie? Kylie!!" I yelled. I held her and cried.

The next morning. Shiro's POV

Keith walked in the room and leaned on the wall. I noticed his eyes looked watery. "Keith are you ok? You look like you were crying." I asked as I walked over to him. "I'm fine." He said. His voice cracked a little.

"Keith we won't make fun of you. Just tell us what's wrong?" I asked as I placed my hand on his shoulder. "I just miss my little sister. She was everything to me. When I was 3-4 and I held her for the first time,I realized our bond would be unbreakable. We did everything together." Keith said.

"When I was 10,she was shot in the chest. She died shortly after. I blamed myself and I still do." Keith added. He started to cry. "I miss my babygirl." He said. I pulled him in and hugged him. "It'll be ok Keith. I'm sorry about your sister." I said. "Thank you Shiro." Keith said.
