author's pov.

this continued on for weeks.

every single day the tall man came into the cafe and ordered something from jimin, and flirtatiously complimenting him. eventually jimin learned the man that had captured his attention was named taehyung.

today was no different, hearing the chiming of the bell as the door was opened, jimin looked over to greet the customer before smiling wide when he realized it was taehyung who had come once again.

"taehyung!"

"hey, jiminie" he greeted back with his deep voice

jimin giggled at petname he had been given by the younger. it had been about a month since taehyung first visited the cafe, and they had begun opening up to each other.

"i gotta rush back to work, but i was wondering.." taehyung paused,  looking around the cafe, with a small blush growing on his tanned face. "would you like to go on a date with me..?" he stuttered out, grabbing hold of jimin's small hands in his large ones.

jimin flushed at his request, but shyly answer with "ok"

"g-great!" taehyung excitedly exclaimed, "i was thinking cake & tea at my place.., is that alright?" he asked, showing off his boxy smile.

"that's perfect." jimin breathed out, matching his smile.

taehyung boldy kissed jimin on the cheek before rushing out, "see you tonight! my address is XXX, XXX rd!"

taehyung's run slowly came to a stop as he reacted his apartment complex. Sticking in his key, he twisted the knob before stepping in, hitting the light switch. He was humming a playful tune as he removed his shoes and walked down the hallway to his room.

"ooh jimin.." he trailed off as he entered his room, flopping down on the bed. He looked at the walls that were littered in polaroid pictures of jimin.

 some from a greater distance, some from merely a seat away. some where jimin was walking around in a park, and some where he was standing behind the cash register of his work place, his small hands fixing the pin in his beret.

"only a bit longer~" he let out a dark giggle.
