Closer and closer she came to the fire
Knowing she will get burned
Yet no fear dwelled in her eyes

She was the moth bewitched by the flames
The beautiful the intriguing the fascinating flames
She knew it would be the end of her
But she just couldn't stay away
For I was too concerned
Knowing he can bring nothing but
Harm damage and loss to her
Yet she wasn't afraid of her destiny being turned
That day transformed everything
When she flew too close to me
All that I feared came to life
All that had too long resided within
