Chapter One

“UGGH!! I hate this class. I can’t wait to graduate!” Jess was going on about how once she graduated this year she was gonna travel to all these different places and she was going to get married and have a kid before she was 25.

“Yeah yeah I’ve heard that before.” I said while rolling my eyes at her.

“I’m serious Levi! I’m gonna do it! You’ll see I’ll be married to a gorgeous brit with a big d*ck in NO time!”

“Psssshh we’ll see. Don’t get too cocky now, you’ll jinx yourself!” I said waving my finger around like an old lady telling some kids to get off her lawn.

“Sh*t! You’re right… Next subject! So are you gonna come shopping with me and Garrett after school?”

“Hell yeah! Someone has to make sure you don’t buy anything ugly! We both know that Garrett can’t do it, he doesn’t know the difference between a mini skirt and a pencil skirt.”

“Haha yeah that’s very true, you are our little fashionista.” Damn right I am! If it weren’t for me they would still be dressing like hobos.

“I know.” I say while trying to flip my short hair.

“BLLLLIIINNNGGG” The final bell rang making me jump and making Jess laugh.

Jess followed me to my locker so I could put my books up.

“Is Garrett gonna drive us or do I need to ask to borrow my mom’s?” I said closing my locker and heading to Garrett’s locker.

“I think Garrett is gonna drive us but I didn’t think to ask.” Jess doesn’t have a license and I don’t have the money to buy a car so Garrett is kind of our own personal chauffeur.

As we reach Garrett’s locker there are like 5 girls surrounding him. Garrett is the hot jock at our school (Even though he’s friends with me… I’m the gay nerd of our group.) He has short blonde hair, blue eyes, and a six pack. Every teenage girl’s wet dream. I on the other hand have short brown hair, brown eyes, and a geeky innocent smile.

Jess is pretty but for some odd reason still doesn’t have a boyfriend. Jess has long red hair, (Not orange. Red.) Green eyes, and she dresses really well thanks to muah!

“Oh thank god! Levi, Jess let’s go!” Garrett said while trying to squeeze through the girls.

“COMING!” Jess and I yell at the same time following him and his fan girls out the front doors.

“Are you gonna drive or do you want to take me home to get my mom’s car?” I say to Garrett while hopping in the middle seat in his pick-up.

“I’ll just drive, no point in wasting your mom’s gas when my parents just gave me gas money last night” He says pulling out of the parking lot before Jess and I even have our seatbelts on.

“What do you think of this Levi?” Jess said coming out of a JCP dressing room wearing a sleeveless black shirt that says “Don’t worry! Be happy!” in white letters and a pair of white skinny jeans.

“I have taught you well young grasshopper.” I say in an Asian accent trying not to smile.

“Haha well I learned from the best” She said while bowing.

“Are you done yet? I need Levi too!” Garrett said holding bra up to his chest making me and Jess laugh hysterically.

“Yes Miss Congeniality I am done.” Jess said turning to go back into the dressing room to change back into her clothes.

“Yayyy!!” Garrett said clapping his hands and putting the bra back.

“Haha! Garrett you’re so weird!” I say getting up to take Jess’s clothes and throw them in our basket.

“Thanks Levi.” Jess said coming out of the dressing room.

“No problem!” I say with a smile. “Now let’s go help Garrett find some clothes.”

“FINALLY!!!” Garrett said a little too loud.

“That’ll be $52.98. Are you paying with cash, credit, or debit?” The girl at the checkout counter said sweetly.

“Credit.” Garrett replied without looking up from the screen while swiping his card.

“Thank you Garrett!!!!” Jess and I yell making him look up and smile at us.

“Here’s your receipt. Thank you for shopping at JCP! Have a good day!” The girl said smiling.

‘Thanks! You too!” We all say together as I grab the bag and we walk out.

“Thanks for taking us shopping Garrett.” I say and Jess nods and smiles in agreement.

“No problem, I needed some new jeans anyways. And thank you Levi for helping us pick out clothes.” Garrett said hitting me with his elbow but not taking his eyes off the road.

“Yeah thanks Levi I c---- “ Jess gets cut off by the sound of an ambulance flying past towards our high school.

“What the hell happened?” Garrett said.

“Follow them. Let’s find out.” I said.
