The last stand

Sorry, it took so long, my dear followers, but this is the last chapter.

“You…”
Screamed Kelly filled with rage and anger, she ran straight to Alex ready to strangle him with her bared hand, but he pulls out a gun.
The only thing that wasn't expected was him locking his arm around his little girl's neck
“Don't move.”
He echoed dangerously pointing the gun at Kierra
“Da,d what are you doing.”
Lil k stood speechless, watching her father turning a gun on an innocent woman. Curious to see why her father didn't want her to see him as anything but a thug
“Sweetheart turn around.”
In front of  kelly’ s eyes, Alex changed into a caring father as K followed his instructions
“You asshole “
Screamed James still on the floor, feeling his pain with Sebastian by his side. Poor kid didn't know what to do
“You are going to be ok.”
In his trembling voice, James took a deep breath hiding his pride.
“It's ok.”
moving closer to take him into a hug
“Oh, I wouldn't speak nor move if I was you.”
Alex shot next to Sebastian's head and missed; he stood immobile as James moved away from holding his head
“That was the idea,”
With an evil smile, separating the kid from James was his goal. He knew that James was playing into Sebastian's sensitivity as a kid, but he also knew that James was putting up a front for Kierra’s sake. He often spoke of getting rid of him because he was getting between him and Kierra’s time.
“He's just a kid.”
Kelly screamed rushing to his side taking him into her arms as his cries echoed around the room
“He's not my kid.”
“Key”
Sebastian held his head in his hand, screaming for Kierra to keep him close, but she was unable to move, she didn't want to move shocked of the event unfolding in front of her.
“Besides I missed, and we both know I don't miss.”
“It hurts.”
Blood came out of his ears as kelly kisses his head reassuring him that everything will be fine
“I swear if you hurt them I will….”
Kierra found her voice watching Sebastian in pain, but Alex was fearless finishing her sentence
“Kill me.”
Laughing Hysterically
“Am the one with the gun.”
She was scared that Alex anger would be directed to her, she was careful, she was a survivor, and right now she was thinking of a way to come out of this alive, and if possible with Sebastian, k and kelly by her side.
“I think that I will never hurt my daughter, but this asshole of a boyfriend of yours come on.”
now Alex was getting impatient, letting go of him he exclaimed
“Get him down.”
Kelly looked concerned
“No”
“Bitch, I won't tell you again.”
He pointed the gun at his daughter
“now!!!!”
He  exclaimed with authority
“No, please...”
Kelly places Sebastian down gently
“You pathetic excuse of  a woman.”
He came closer to her and hit her with the bottom of the gun to her temple.
“She's my daughter.”
As she fell to the floor
“I will never hurt her.”
He ran his hand through his daughter's hair and exclaimed
“K get Sebastian to the room.”
She has been here with her father countless time before, so she shook her head, acknowledging him and led Sebastian to the room. As the kids slowly left the room in fear, he turned to Kierra
“Anything else, princess.”
Kierra didn't hesitate
“Let him go.”
“As you wish.”
She thought she could get through a lunatic as Alex, but he aimed the gun at kelly’s shoulder and aimed at Alex's chest
“What”
In disbelief, she exclaimed but ignored him on the floor and ran straight to Kelly‘s side. It was clear to Alex that once again, she choose Kelly. He brought the gun to his head hitting himself twice frustrated
“Can't you see his a liar, and she's no better.”
“And what are you.”
James managed to let out spitting out blood
“Well shit, you just won't die.”
Alex walked closer pointing the gun to James as he exclaimed
“Or you just can't shoot.”
“This dude.”
He smiled grabbing him by the neck; he placed the hot barrel of the gun to the wound on his chest
“Ahh “
he exclaimed in pain
“Not so though now mister corporate lawyer.”
Coughing up blood on  Alex's suit, he gets agitated, Pushing him closer to Kelly. Taking his suits off and throwing it on the floor
“Now she's attending to her wound and not yours
What's that say about you, Jamie.”
“Jamie”
Kierra exclaimed
“Oh yes…”
He forgot to tell them why he was here, for once he doubted himself
“does that ring a bell because I am Nile ”
“No...”
In horror James replied
“It can't be.”
“Who’s that.”
Everyone seems to understand what's there to come because the Nile is back and he's back for revenge, all except Kiera who appears lost for words demanding answers as no one replied
“Who is he”
She tried again
“My brother.”
“What”
“He's my brother, Kierra.”
“Oh yes, Leo Nile in the flesh.”
“This is a joke I can’t.”
Kiera seems to be taken by this revelation as she realized that she has been sleeping with Kelly’s brother for the longest, but no one took this harshly as James as this was his nightmare came true.
“No, this can't be happening.”
“You didn't think you locked me up and threw away the key did you.”
“I did you bastard.”
“We can't be winners like me, and Oh this one can't keep her legs close, you know what am saying”
Kiera wondered how deep secrets could be kept buried as Alex pointed to the fact that he only knew that Kierra slept with everyone in the room.
“I…”
She begins as James found his strength with rage and leaped from the floor to Alex's leg. He kicks him on his back and shot him in his head
“Oh look I didn't miss.”
As blood from his corpse landed on Kierra and Kelly’s face.
“Now it is no hard feeling; I see why you love that.”
Licking his lips, he vulgarly moans
“Uh-uh Uh-uh, juicy.”
Kneeling next to them running his hand through her hair
“Com’ on k you didn't”
In her pain being shot, Kelly was heartbroken.
“Am sorry.”
“Fuck, man were married.”
“Wait, what.”
Taking Alex by surprise
“This is gold.”
“Am sorry, Kel.”
“I loved you since we were kids.”
“ I know and am sorry. “
“You know what, the worst part was that this was your idea.”
“ what do you mean.”
“Getting married.”
“What”
“What you don't remember.”
Kierra pulled away from Kelly; she didn't remember. how could she forget, you only get married once, she was hammered, right now she had no excuses
“Oh, great.”
Kelly pulled her back to reality
“I wouldn't.”
“ am just great for your dreams but not good enough for your reality “
“I didn't say that.”
“Then what is it”
“You are not what I expected.”
“What does that suppose to mean.”
“ I don't know..“
“K”
Pity in her eyes, they both knew that only one of them was being true to their feeling
“K... I”
“choose... Supposed I choose you.”
“ and then what….we live happily fucking ever after “
“I don't do that. “
“Do what.”
“I meant this… this wasn't right I don't remember“
“Right what's new.”
“ sarcastically I wanted us to get married, that's ironic. “
Kiera had nothing left to say; it was her idea to marry kelly
“I felt guilty to be engaged to Alex; I slept with your brother just to prove to myself that I could be loyal to you.”
“But you didn't know.”
“That's what so great about you, you can forgive me but am the one who can’t “
“K you are a free spirit, you are allowed to choose.”
All the words that Kelly spoke were the truth, but she didn't expect her to be so understanding when it came to love, she was out of luck, and she kept telling herself that she didn't deserve her.
“I will never be mad at that; this wasn't just the wind that took you where you belong; it was your desire.”
“Wind of desire.”
Holding kelly’s hand between her own,
It came to her that no one controlled her destiny. With Kelly, she felt free, with everyone else she felt caged, a disappointment because she cared what others think of her. Here Kelly told her that she was loved no matter what choice she made, she wouldn't resent her for that. Her father loved her, but he was afraid that she was different, she wanted to make him proud of her regardless. Her mother loved her, but she turned out to be a fraud
“ I know I am wrong so why do you still love me “
“You marry me out of  your own free will.”
“I married you because I was drunk and out of my mind.”
“You married me when you were drunk and when you found out well we still aren't divorced.”
“I was drunk.”
“We both were if you could marry me when you are drunk, why not marry me now.”
“What”
“It wasn't your decision alone.”
When she didn't answer Kelly brought her hand caressing her face
“So”
She begins shaking her head yes
“Am not mad that you did the things that you did, because for the longest it was the first time that you were able to make your own choice.”
“Aww isn't that so touching.”
They forgot that they weren't alone in the room as Alex's eyes mocked them briefly
“If only I could believe you “
“FUCK YOU”
Screamed kelly with rage
“ fuck me…”
With a smile making its way on the corner of his mouth
“Am proud of me.”
this lunatic wasn't done with them as he continued
“ let's see killing James….check,”
He ran his hand through his short buzz haircut
“getting your daughter check….”
This cocky son of a bitch was pleased with his plan
“And ruining your life bonus check.”
“FUCK YOU”
Exclaimed Kierra filled with rage
“With pleasure, I mean, you know you like it.”
“You ass hole.”
“I will survive, and do you know why.”
Kissing the gun
“am the biggest crime syndicate in Miami.”
He stood up away from them and screamed
“ AM UNTOUCHABLE”
“What are you going to do with us now.”
“Well first off.”
A smile crept upon his face; they braced themselves for unimaginable torture to come
“ I don't know.”
He replied proudly, they both glanced at each other in horror
“But I have a surprise for you.”
He briefly shot at the ceiling
“Come on in honey.”
He shouted repeatedly shooting at the roof several times
“Come in love; everything is sorted.”
A young woman entered the room with blonde hair longer then kelly’s, wearing a leather dress, with dark shades covering her eyes.
“What is this”
“She looks like me.”
“Indeed”
Alex moved to lay a kiss on the young women  cheek
“Meet our sister,”
He ran his hand softly on her hair in amazement
“ well, your twin.”
“Impossible am an only child.”
“Well, mother was a liar and a whore.”
“WHO IS SHE”
Kiera demanded with  rage
“Jane”
The stranger spoke softly
“I Am Jane.”
“Why are you doing this”
“Well let's see at one point I loved you, but this bastard got me arrested and fucked up my life.”
“I've only met you once.”
“That's what you think.”
“What do you mean.”
“Sis will you please explain this to her.”
Kelly couldn't look at Kierra in the eyes, so James came closer to them on the floor threatening her  with the gun in his hand
“Or would you rather exit this world.”
Holding the weapon Closer to her chin
“ sooner then than expected.”
Kelly slightly turned the opposite way looking up at kiearra; she could see that they were both tired of this game.
“fourtheen…. we were fourteen what else do you remember k.”
“What do you mean.”
“Our parents made me promise to protect you; you were in a coma since you were twelve, your mother's fire which is why she can't come home she blames you, she thinks you owe her your life and when you woke up.”
“I woke up with you.”
“You remember.”
“Isn't that sweet.”
Alex exclaimed standing off to his feet, twirling jane around.
“Kierra was married, I thought that this time would be different “
“ no you made this choice for me, that's not what I wanted “
Kierra became distant to Kelly’s personal space as she stood back a few inches away from her
“k you saved me, why are you acting this way.”
“I saved you, but who saves me.”
“K..”
“Everyone assumed  that they know me, they assumed that they know what I want, or who I want to be with, and most of all, everyone around me lies.”
“I never lied to you.”
Kelly screamed  in anger, in pain holding on to her shoulder
“You are lying to me right now.”
“No, I haven't.”
Jane and Alex twirled with joy enjoying their handy work; his plan was working correctly as he watched the once happy couples at each other's throats.
“I had k at sixteen; you didn't even notice.”
“ you didn't tell me “
“Because I was trying to protect you.”
“no, you were trying to make yourself feel better “
“I was violated; I don't even know her father.”
James brought jane closer to him and laid a kiss closer to her lips
“Told you she's nothing like you.”
The display in front of them  was unbelievable
“You guys are disgusting.”
“as I said am her father “
“What “
shocking by Alex answer
“What”
James ignored her and proceeded
“She's your blood, not mine.”
“What do you mean.”
“Jane, We have the same mother.”
Trying to appeal to the least sane person closer to Alex but he didn't answer
“Yeah but she sure could choose our dad I mean am a lunatic, and you well shit if you're in deep shit ”
“ what about k.”
“I am a lunatic, but I would never do the deed myself.”
James walked closer to them once more
“Six years ago, I had clients line up for a good time why not offer them you, the growing pain in my life.”
Before he could finish his sinister plot, kiearra understood kelly’s pain
“ you had her rape. “
“well... This is why she loves you. “
“Your sister… this is why she left”
“The thing is she's though, but I could never get rid of her as you loved her, but our parents picked the wrong one, they kept her, and they got rid of us.”
“I see why she got rid of you… a raging homophobe, and you… you are just going to stand there.”
In a fit of rage, Kelly was fuelled with hate, but Alex still held the power
“Ah, careful.”
The energy wasn't in his word but his gun, as he pointed it out to her head
“What are your last words.”
Pulling the trigger of his flock thirty- five with spite in his voice
“Sis”
“please Alex “
Kierra pleaded  with him to spare kelly’s life; she covered her body over kelly’s in the hope that Alex wouldn't shoot her as well
“please don't.”
Again and again, but Alex looked disturbed
“Get out the way kiearra unless you'd like to join her.”
“Please”
She begged once more  pulling back slightly never leaving kelly eyes,
“Very well.”
Alex would come to his senses and let them live s, but he had another diabolical plan in mind. He wanted to appeal to Kiera as merciful until he saw what she did next.
Her eyes watered with fear,
she brought her hand caressing kelly’s face softly
“I love you.”
she decided to replace it with love
“I love you.”
Her emotions took over her as her lips crashed unto kellies. Taken by surprise, Kelly didn't return her feelings, when Kiera was pulling away from her, Kelly held her head gently
“I love you,”
she whispered back and brought her closer into her arm, kissing her profoundly as if today would be her last, she held kiearra in her right arm and brought her left hand showing Alex her middle fingers.
Taken as a fuck you as she has the girl, Alex saw this as a threat .as he watched them in front of him with their endless display of love.
“No…”
Raising his gun and aiming at their head,
If he couldn't have kiearra, then no one could.
They both heard the weapon ready to fire, but Kelly closed her eyes as Kierra did in what seems to be their last day, at the last minute the gun fired but they felt alive than before.
Kelly opened her eyes and saw kiearra atop of her; she pulled back
“K”
“Uh, uh.”
She hugged her closely
“Are we still alive.”
“Yeah”
The strange change of  event taking place, Kelly never saw this a million mile away
“But how.”
When kiearra asked how come they were still alive, Kelly wanted to share her newfound discovery
“Open your eyes.”
She opened her eyes and found jane holding a gun bigger than Alex’s
“Sorry about that”
She exclaimed
“What the”
Kierra was in disbelief, but Kelly knew it was safe
“Thank you, sergeant.”
“Sergeant”
“You welcome sis.”
“Wait you were in on this”
“I..”
“You could have rushed in here at any time, you could stop him from shooting her, and you didn't.”
“It's not her fault. I asked her to stay quiet.”
“How long.”
“Three months.”
“WHAT!!!!”
“sorry”
“I was right; you lied to me “
“She had too”
“Why”
Kierra punched kelly near her wound
“FUCK K”
she screamed
“WHY DAMN IT”
they screamed at each other like a married couple, but Jane had an idea of watching kiearra that was about to hit her sister once more
“You were married, you lived with him for three months, “
Kierra lowered her hand
“she tried to talk to you, but if she kept trying, you wouldn't be alive.”
“And what about k does she know.”
“Hell no.”
Exclaimed kelly but her twin said otherwise
“Hell yes.”
“What”
“You did not.”
“Am your twin, he didn't know, and she played it well.”
