He was the only one who had consciously walked into crime with open arms and guns blazing. Joined gangs and collected his earning happily. Seemingly glad with how easy his life had gone by.

He'd had no desire to do something this rash.
It had been the others that did it to him.

He'd found her on the road, running from her scene of dismay and peril. He was running from people rather than himself. But in that moment when he saw her, he knew he had to let her into his life. No matter how hectic either one of them could be.

He came along soon after, trying to end things himself. But was stopped and scooped up into the group.

Before then he'd avoided strangers, not one to trust easy or make friends often.
But there was something about these people that even in the silence, he understood them.

They showed him how to enjoy life to it's fullest and to the end.

He wanted more.
He was greedy.
Just like in life.
He needed something more.

That's why he jumped.
