- tricks and treats

The trio sat in silence for a few more moments, finally taking in the feeling that it had worked. This would be everything they'd wanted, as long as they knew how to get out of the car. With water around.

"what do we do now?" Hui asked, instinctively holding the wheel out of habit.
"shall we take this thing for a spin?" Hyuna asked, smirking at the boy beside her. He scoffed and shook his head, reaching to feel if there were keys in the ignition.

He turned the small keyring and the car grumbled to a start, then it all went black again. None of them made a sound, but they all had the same thought.

When Hyuna's vision came back she found the other two asleep exactly where they'd been before. Hui was still holding onto the key, and E'dawn was still slouched across the backseat where he'd fallen to begin with.

It wasn't like she had woken up, but more like she had just opened her eyes. The girl shook the others awake and only then noticed that they were parked in a dingy backstreet, badly lit by orange streetlights.

"something's not right." Hui said with caution, taking in the surroundings. While he frowned at a nearby building, no signs of life seeming to be around, E'dawn had already climbed out of the backseat and was circling the car.
"no water" He told the others and opened Hyuna's door to let her out.
"what are you doing?" Hui asked them.
"I dunno, just exploring I guess." Hyuna said, spinning around with no care in the world. Just taking in the float material of this unfamiliar dress.
"let's check the boot." E'dawn suggested, exciting the girl instantly.
"why the boot?" Hui asked him, finally giving up his grip on the wheel and getting out.
"we all know what happened last time we checked the boot of a random car." He reminded the ex-gang member, who honestly should've known better than to leave the boot untouched for this long anyway.

The all crowded round, a sense of nostalgia hitting them one by one, as Hui lifted it open.
"well..... it's not cash."

It was anything but. Stuffed into the trunk of the car we're flowers and balloons and most importantly, three freaky looking clown masks. All with different coloured hair but the same chilling porcelain face. E'dawn laughed and pulled one out, fixing the white wig on the top and putting on his face. Hyuna giggled as he groaned and made noises, trying to tickle her. Hui just rolled his eyes and picked up the one with red hair, putting in over his face.

"Ok. So we have some masks, what are gonna do with them?" He asked.
"I dunno. Ooo this ones cute." Hyuna squealed, trying on the last one with neon yellow hair.

They looked a little insane. Stood next to this random building, absolutely nothing else around them but darkness.

"We have to go in there. It only makes sense." E'dawn said setting off towards the steps.
"And what do we do once we get inside?" Hui pointed out.

Hyuna stares into the intercom camera.
"we do what we do best boys..."
"and what would that be?"

"cause trouble"
