RAEMARIE’S P.O.V.

He'd jammed me back against the car's front (have no idea what it's called :\). Students passing pretended not to see anything and just continued on with their business. The class bell rang and I pushed hard against his chest for freedom.

"NO I will NOT let you go!"

His eyes turned a red flame like color and ceased to subside. I stayed laid on my back choking as I saw his inner wolf starting the take over.

I had a psychic flash and saw him as a black wolf with red eyes hungry for its prey. I whimpered a bit as I felt his breath against my neck. He licked it sending more shivers and bolts of electricity through my body.

"I will NEVER let you go"

His voice sounded serious but distracted as his hand found its way up my side to my bra strap. I silently smirked remembering that I was much more powerful than he thought I was and using my strength I pushed him over to the sidewalk in front the car.

He growled silently but as he lunged for me I leapt over him and headed for the nearby forest. I knew he was chasing behind me with the 12 other security members who changed into their wolf forms.

I gasped as I saw my previous vision come to life.  This cannot be good.

Dylan was a large black wolf with bright red eyes running after my. I knew the only way to out run them was to undo the done but I liked the chase and honestly I got sexually aroused watching him in his wolf form, showing off his deadly and dangerous sides.

I smirked and ducked under the trees at the entrance of the forest. I knew the way off of the Aomi's land but I had lost my sense of direction as I passed a river. Sighing I stopped dead in my tracks at a clearing. I could hear the pants of the wolves coming towards me and my heart jumped with joy and fright as Dylan leapt out facing me dead in the eye.

I had never been able to see the forest and it being my first time caused me to be a bit distracted.

I laughed a bit as I watched the wind blow in the trees slowly pushing the nearby birds away from the field. They surrounded me while I was vulnerable ready to attack but a high pitched scream distracted them and I headed even deeper in the forest.

My heart was thumping incredibly fast as I barely managed to dodge their plunges. Sarai, my inner wolf, tried to take over but I wouldn’t allow her to. If she did she wouldn’t want freedom, but to be in the arms of her mate, my mate, our mate...

I’d just crossed over a borderline and my chasers began to retreat. I knew I would soon be graced with the presence of the territory’s owner so I dashed for a hidden spot where they wouldn’t think to look.

A huge grey wolf with bright yellow eyes suddenly appeared out of nowhere with three slightly smaller brown wolves.

Power radiated from their bodies and I knew these weren’t ordinary werewolves.

KAYDEN’S P.O.V.

I sensed a stir in the barrier and immediately headed to the borderline with Jesse, James and Lake. It was the day before my 26th birthday and the pack wasn’t expecting a sudden unwelcomed visitor. I sensed the wolf hidden in a hollowed out tree.

“Come out, NOW!” I stated hoping to get the encounter over with.

After a few moments of hesitation the stranger came out. I hadn’t expected to see the most beautiful girl I had ever seen in all my life. She had long black hair that resembled the night itself and stunning blue green eyes.

She lowered her eyes avoiding my gaze.  I was too shocked and just stood there staring at her awkwardly.

“Um, are you okay?”

I hadn’t realized the question was being directed to me until the boys expressed worried concerns and talked to me through the mind link.

Hey, Kay are you okay? You blanked out”

I abruptly shook my head and showed that I was back to the issue at hand. We shifted back to our human forms behind the very tree she hid in hoping not to flash her.

“Why did you enter our land?” My voice was stern but not as harsh as before.

“Let’s just say my mate and I aren’t seeing eye to eye”

I was about to question her further when the son of Alpha Throhadj appeared.

“Dylan, is there a reason for your sudden appearance?”

“Yes, it seems my mate doesn’t know her place!” His voice was dripping with anger.

“I’m not going back with you if I can’t have my freedom!”

-Her voice was strong and she obviously meant what she said. I studied her over once again. She was wearing a white v-necked tight fitting top with a black leather jacket and black shorts which accentuated her legs. Her hair was up in a ponytail showing off her small birthmark that was nearly invisible. Dylan’s growl shook me out of my daydream and brought me back to the situation at hand.

“Well if your mate wants to stay on my land she is permitted but I’d need to know why she ran away from you in the first place”

I carefully laid out my words hoping to resolve the matter.

“NO! She will come home now!!!!”

“NO I WILL NOT!!”

Her body had tensed up and she looked furious.

”I am no longer your father’s and your pack’s slave”

She’d calmed down and exhaled audibly.

“May I ask your name?”

Her sudden question took me off guard and it took only a few seconds for it to sink in.

“Alpha Kayden Asher”

“Well then Alpha Asher I gladly accept your offer to stay on your land”

“NO YOU SHALL NOT!”

Dylan lunged at her crossing into my territory and I found myself defending her. The men behind Dylan didn’t seem too worried about the fact that I was in front of her in demi-seconds, but more afraid of the girl behind me.

The men hesitated and stepped back showing their submission. Although it was only 4 of us there we had a better chance of winning. Dylan backed away slowly but the way he did it made me a bit suspicious; suddenly a wolf lunged at her from behind and I was about to attack when she literally kicked the wolf away, in her HUMAN form.

Completely dumbfounded I faced her awestruck, my wolf demanding an explanation.

“Long story pal”

Those two words reminded me that we were still faced with the Dylan issue.

“Let your alpha come tomorrow and we shall discuss this – situation- thoroughly."

The wolves left but not without sending their death glares. I turned towards my men signaling for her to follow behind me. Once we were settled in the car I began bombarding her with questions.

“Wait wait!”, she said holding her palms against her ears, “One at a time please”

“Sorry”, I said feeling so ashamed of my impolite behavior,"What is the name of the she-wolf that has caused so much trouble to my pack already?”

She chuckled and stared out the window before answering,

“Rae-Marie but just call me Rae”

I smiled to myself, Rae, beautiful. I could sense this girl had a certain feel to her and things were going to get a lot more hectic with her around...
