I will not marry you

I'm inside a room it's large, so much that I feel small. I look through the closest to find some clothes to wear. But all I find are men's clothes, so I find the smallest set and slip them on.

Then I head out my room and try my best to find the heading sitting room which wasn't quite as hard as all of the guys were so very loud so I opening the door and everyone looks at me.

"Um, I thought she was a woman." I think I hear someone laugh goddamn idiots.

"No you dimwit, I'm a girl in men's clothes, do your eyes deceive you so much you can't tell men from women?" they all shut up.

"So tell me about this stupid curse and the whole story." I pause, " all of the stories." I say sitting down he moves in closer but I give him that look.

"Nope from afar I don't trust you," I say, he hesitates but sits in the chair farthest from me, while little Harry is jumping up and sitting in my lap playing with my hair.

While waiting for the truth. Max finds some bread and jam so we eat food, we don't know the next time we will eat, so we pack in all we can. We eat then, buckle down, I try to help Harry get the jam off his face. I have to take care of him now, I have to protect the last of my family. We get done and sit down, Harrys of with one of max's guard taking a bath he's gotten so dirty.

"Okay it's time to get down to business, to tell you the truth," he says. Yes, finally! I almost scream out of anticipation.

"Okay it started about well over a thousand years ago, when you're grandfather Sam Westfield fell in love with a keeper not knowing that she was a witch. Yet he still fell in love with the keeper, when he had a wife. Queen Mara and the two little twins Taylor and Tyler, one princess and the other prince."

Then he leans back getting comfortable

" This is where it gets a little complicated, the keeper, Madison Westfield did not want to be the king's mistress anymore. So she threatened to tell the queen about there affair, but the king didn't want that, he knew it would cause trouble for him in the court, so he sentenced her to death." I gasp. That name sounds familiar... Madison Westfield. I run the name over and over in my head, wondering where I had heard that name before.

"I know it was wrong, he knew it was wrong but he was a very greedy man, Via," he says, I groan. Ugh

"Stop calling me that and just finish the story, got it?" I say.

"Okay, fine, well, she was sentenced and they came for her, she was obviously not happy. She was very angry, because the man who she courted with, a man who she gave herself to, deceived her when she wanted to end things. She burned all of the guards and went to find the king, she didn't want to kill the king. No matter what he was her love. She had fallen for a deceiver. So when she found him sitting on his throne..." he looks up at me.

When she looked into his eyes and saw grief, she cast a curse on your great-grandfather. He could never say no to her but, the story was not over yet, there's a twist. She wasn't just the help, she was the queen's twin sister and the queen rushed in angered that her own sister would do this, to her of all people. She plunged a sword into her sister's heart, killing the witch instantly but the curse still heald".

"So you're saying that my grandfather was cursed and so is my father he held this curse and your grandmother set this curse" wow that's confusing "Is there a way to say that word to you bloodline is there a fix this and why haven't you told me about this until now".

He gets a little nervous "Well it hasn't become a problem until now" he says its a problem for me but how for him "Why is it a problem now" I ask "My brother Tavi wants to use the curse and take over this kingdom I was sent by my father to stop that but he is the rightful successor so if we don't mary I can't keep him from marrying you" he says

I hadn't noticed he's scouted closer to me "No I'm sorry I can't say no to your proposal" ah why this stupid curse I feel like I have no control over myself anymore "You know my answer but we will find a way to undo or fix the curse and deal with this whole mess" I say.

I calm down enough to walk away without biting his head off. I walk back to my room making sure not to stomp past Harry's room so I slowly pass and sneak into my room. Max's makes my bath and gives me that knowing look and leaves me he knows I need some alone time.

I almost pass out in the bath that Max made up for me it feels so good to not be dirty anymore to feel clean "What am I doing?" I say to myself then plunge my head under the warm water thinking of my situation and what to do but then I feel hands grab me and my instincts kick an "Intruder" I yell and I grab it and pull the guy in the water under me.

And that's about the time when I realize I'm naked and this person is familiar I pull his head up from the soapy water to find Ivan bright eyes staring at me "Oh hi" he says and I freak I push his head under the water and jump up and run for a towel wrapping myself in it Ivan getting up.

"What the hell, Ivan what are you doing" I scream at him "Well if you weren't trying to kill yourself and maybe listen I was knocking and you weren't answering I can feel your emotions so I thought you know" What no "You thought I was trying to kill myself no I wasn't god Ivan" and that start the tears he so stupid I would never give up on my kingdom or take the easy way out I'm not that low "Oh no don't cry no Via stop I can't control myself.

Then he grabs me in a hug "I love you" he whispers in my ear then carries me into my bed and lays me down then lays next to me on the covers "I'm so sorry but I'm here for you your my Via" I hear him say then fall into a deep sleep him eloping me in a hug his arms wrapped around me and no more tears.
