INTRODUCTION Derek's intro 24 year old Derek Chancelor is the eldest son of King Silas and Queen Regina, who rule over the land of Faeries. With a rebellious mind and heart, Prince Derek has no intention of taking over as king when his parents step down in a matter of months. He believes if he doesn't have a Queen, why should he be king?
Not that he's looking for anyone special! No! Derek wants to have fun and enjoy life while he still can!
Which will catch up with the prince in a matter of months before he comes of age! He trains vigorously, perfecting his fighting and sorcery skills simply to impress the ladies. (So far it's worked) Though not serious about battling anyone, The Prince is just as strong and gifted as his father! Derek has specifically 9 months to prepare for and accept his role as the new king. Even with 3 siblings, he may not rely on anyone else to take on the role as ruler because they are considerably younger than he is. And the laws say someone has to take over as ruler once the current once decide to step down. Regardless of desires, if there is no one else within the 8 month eligibility period, the closest heir must be crowned.
Isabelle's intro & POV BRRR-ring BRRR-ring!! I turn over in my very comfortable bed to press the snooze button as reality hits. I may 18 years old and desire to go out with my friends, I don't have the luxury of getting what I want! So here I am at 7:30am when "princess lessons" are scheduled every week day! Since about a year ago, my parents decided I need to pick my weapon, train and practice my abilities. As you can see, they didn't bother to ask if I wanted to do any of this! I have 8 years before I'm eligible for the crown. But with my brother and sister ahead of me, it's very unlikely that I'd ever be a queen unless I marry a prince. And I refuse to do that sh**! I'm ur usual girly girl! I want to marry for love not politics... again not that that matters to my parents! Even though they married for love.. OOPS! I babbled! Tehee! Anyway, I get outta bed and take care of my hygiene. Then I get ready for my training. My usual look is a cross between a Valkyrie, a hunter, and a shadowhunter. Hey! I'm still on earth! Just because I'm actually "magical" as the mundanes say, doesn't mean I don't f with their tv shows and books! I am really into writing reading and watching sci-fi. Just when I'm done getting dressed, my magic instructor, Ms. Lydia, walks into my room. She tells me it's time to go to the training room and prepare to spar with MY OWN SISTER!! I think she's the only worker in this damn castle that can just WALTZ into my room w/o penalty. ITS RIDICULOUS!
Woops! Almost forgot to tell you a little bit about myself! It must've slipped my mind since I'm up again at this UNACCEPTABLE HOUR! So, my full name is Isabelle Eretria (think that's my grandma's name or sum) Chancelor... YES the name is spelled with only one L! Idky and idc! Anyway, I stand at exactly 5'2 and I'm almost certain every horror story was created as some sick TWISTED joke! But that ish don't make it any less true!
