The knight in shining armor turned out to be a witch who was put under the spell of another witch. His actions led you to believe him, believe he was a good guy fighting evil. Someone who would protect you and love you like a knight was supposed to. However, his heart was as dark as the clouds on a stormy night. And every time his true self shone through the cracks of the clouds in the sky -like lightning that disappeared in the blink of an eye- then your heart hurt making the night violently shake like booming thunder which then released the downpour of tears.
Here, the knight did nothing to try and calm the storm. He only re-appeared once the stars and moon were back out and about. Thus, he was evil. No matter how many stars shined and how many times you think he saved you, there was no denying that damage had been left behind from the witch under a spell -or perhaps, a curse- who caused the storm.
