The air was cold and stale, and the rain cracked against my helmet as if tears of the storm. It's eyes staring me down full of life, full of fear. For I was no ordinary hunter, and this no ordinary prey. Its yellow blade gleamed bright in the dark of night. It had been a mighty hunt as this prey proved particularly evasive and clever, but one can always count on darkness, to steal the life of light. The precious light which he had depended on became slowly engulfed by the mercilessness of my piercing crimson blade, his eyes turned frail and elderly as had his life. The air was cold and stale, and the rain cracked against my helmet as if the very blood that seeped from lifeless body before me. Deactivating my lightsaber I stood amongst the many corpses around me. Jedi, rebels, beasts it mattered not, each one proved less a threat the more I struck them down. My comlink began to flare with static.
"M...my Lord?"
The voice of the officer lay in ruin, as if he himself had witnessed the efficiency of my anger, and stood in the very forest I transformed into a graveyard.
"Dispatch a ship to my location, I have finished my objective."
My request was met with an expected silence from the officer before finally responding.
"Right away my Lord."
The air was cold and stale, the rain cracked against my helmet as if tears of the storm, and my breathing thundered throughout the seemingly dead forest.
