After we got to the helicarrier, I was sent to the med-bay with a concussion and a sprained wrist. The doctors gave me some pain meds, but other than that I was fine so I went to my room and grabbed a new suit since mine was dirty and ripped. After I took a shower and changed, I went to the control room.
"Carrie," Fury called as I walked over to him with my hands clasped behind my back. He stood at his station. "Agent Coulson should be arriving any minute with Mr. Rogers, and Agent Romanoff should be arriving with Dr. Banner. I'd like to meet them out on the runway. Tell Coulson we are ready for a face trace." He said and I nodded began to walk away.
"Fury... Nick. Are we going to get Clint back?" I asked him turning back to face him and he continued to look out the big view window.
"I don't know Agent Barton, I don't know." He said and I nodded sadly and was about to walk out, but I turned back to face him.
"What about, you know who?" I asked him and he shook his head.
"They are fine, I called her and told her to take them somewhere else for a few days. They'll be fine." I nodded and began to walk out to the runway to meet the others when I was suddenly hit with a wave of dizziness. I stumbled a little and leaned on the wall for a moment and waited as the dizziness past. I took a deep breath before I continued to walked out to the runway.
When I got there I began to look around till I see a man with smooth blond hair wearing a brown leather jacket and blue jeans standing next to Phil. I walked up to them and gave a small wave.
"They need you on the bridge. Fury said they're starting the face-trace." I told Coulson and he nodded before leaving the way I came.
"See you there." He said to the two of us as he walked away and I turned back to Rogers and he stuck his hand out to me.
"Steve Rogers." He said and I reluctantly took his hand and as soon as I did, my mind flooded with old memories from his days before the ice. I see a woman with beautiful brown hair and I immediately recognize her as Peggy Carter, one of my role models. I also saw a man who had brown hair and on his name tag, it said, Sargent Barnes. I watched as the said man fell from a train into a mountain valley. I released Rogers' hand and had to blink away his memories.
"Um, Agent Carrie Barton, a pleasure to meet you," I said clearing my throat after staring at him for a minute. I looked over to see Natasha walking over to us.
"Nat, this is Mr. Steve Rogers," I told her and she gave a little greeting before I put my hands back behind my back and we began walking.
"It was quite the buzz around here, finding you in the ice." She said to Rogers as we passed different Agents running around doing their duties. "I thought Coulson was gonna swoon." She said and I giggled a little at the thought.
"Did he ask you to sign his Captain America trading cards yet?" I asked and he looked at me with a slightly confused and slight prideful expression.
"Trading cards?" He asked and I couldn't help but smile.
"They're vintage, he's very proud," Nat said and I could help thinking about the time that Phil showed me his collection and almost yelled at me when I accidentally dropped one.
I looked over when I saw a man with shaggy brown hair with a brown suit just randomly walking around looking lost.
"Doctor Banner," I called as I walked up to the man and began to shake the Doctor's hand. As soon as our hands touched, I got flashes of a big green monster attacking things and smashing them. I also saw a woman. She was beautiful and had long brown hair and it looked like Banner loved her. But she died. I pulled away from his hand and just stared at him for a second.
