I Like Me Better (Funtime Foxy x Reader)

Chapter 1: First Day

AUTHORS NOTE: I didnt feel like looking up the H.A.N.D Unit dialouge, so I improvised xD

EDIT: I fixed up this chapter a bit, I didnt really like how I first wrote it

You checked the time on the clock, and almost had a heart attack. "SWEET JESUS ON A CRACKER, IM GONNA BE LATE-" you yelled at yourself as you changed out of your nightgown and into a pair of old jeggings (you really had to get some new clothes soon), a t-shirt that was a bit small on you, and a pair of socks with knee-high boots. In your ruch you forgot to put on a bra, much to the amusement of the men in the lobby of the ratty old hotel you were staying at.

You managed to hop on a bus for a little ways of the trip, and run the rest. When you found a large building with a big red sign reading, 'Circus Baby's Parties and Rentals!' you sighed in releif and went inside.

The place looked deserted. There were dusty tables covered in stained table cloths, and the stage looked as if it hadnt been used in years. You walked to the back room to the large elevator shaft, punched in a short code, and stepped inside. The ride was shaky, which made you question how safe this actually was. What added to your suprise was a small sort of touch screen that popped out from the side of the wall, amoung the posters of what you would assume where the characters. 

"Greetings! And welcome to your new job at Circus Babys Pizza World. I am your trusty H.A.N.D Unit." A keyboard popped up on its screen, but it was constantly moving and glitching. "So we can get to know you better, please enter your name. This cannot be changed, so be careful!"

The touchpad creeped you out, but you tryed typing in your name, but the keyboard kept moving around, and it didnt help that the elevator was constantly shaking. "Crap.." you muttered.

A small loading sign was displayed for a second, when it dissapeared the unit spoke again. "Welcome, 'Eggs Bennadict'!" It said. You chuckled at the name." After the elevator stops, you will enter the Main Control Module, where you will be monitering the animatronics and doing most of your work!"

"Nice!" You chimed. You thought animatronics were pretty cool, and you heard that these ones had pretty advanced tech. 

The elevator stopped as if on cue, and when the doors opened you almost vomited at the smell that came from inside. "It smells like something died in here.." you said pinching your nose and stepping inside. 'I mean, I wouldnt doubt it.' You thought as you walked, remembering the incidents at the original locations. 

Once you entered the room, you took a moment to look at your surroundings. There was an abundance of weird decorations, and two large windows. There were also two pads, with two buttons each. A orange one, and a blue one. You also noticed the vents on the floor, thinking that it was just an odd design choice. 

"Time to begin your work." The H.A.N.D Unit said from the speakers throughout the room, startling you. "Lets check on Ballora. Turn to the pad to your right, and press the orange button." You did as it said, and saw a tall, curvy animatronic twirling on her stage with a few smaller bots. "Looks like Ballora is ready to perform!" The voice exclaimed. 

"Woah..." you mused. You saw the robots on the posters, but in person they looked a lot more....mysterious? You couldnt think of a word to use.

"Now lets check on Funtime Foxy. Turn to the pad on your right, and press the orange button." You pressed the button, but there was nothing on the stage. You expected there to be a big plastic white and pink fox, like on the posters. 

"It looks like Foxy isnt here. Lets motivate him with a controlled shock." 

'Controlled shock?' You thought. That seemed a little odd considering they were robots. You didnt need to hear the voice's instructions to know which button to press. You booped the blue button, and heard a shock emit through the Funtime Auditorium. You pressed the orange button again, and the Fox still was not there.

"Lets motivate her with another controlled shock." The unit said again, this time calling the fox a she.

"This is kind of mean.." you said quietly, pressing the blue button once again, but this time hearing a faint click of metal on tile. 'Oh god did I break something?',  you pressed the orange button and to your relief, Funtime Foxy was there...and looking directly at you. 

You both locked eyes for a moment, and you thought you saw his eyes glow a different color. 'Probably a trick of the light..' you thought. It was pretty dark.

"Wonderful! Now crawl through the passage in front of you and go to Circus Gallery."

The rest of your night consisted of pressing buttons, and watching tv until you went home. When you were warm in your bed, you thought about Funtime Foxy. 

'Why was he staring at me..' you thought. 'Probably just a bug.'. You hadnt changed out of your clothes from today, only taking off the boots, so it was a little hard to get comfortable. But once you did manage to find a comfy position, you closed your eyes and fell asleep, not really exited for another day at that place.
