I Like Me Better (Funtime Foxy x Reader)

Chapter 4: Musical Shenanigans

You had explained your predicament, and Foxy immediatly offered to let you stay in the Funtime Auditorium. 

"I have plenty of space!" He said. "Theres even that little hidden wall thing by the window!" He went over to a discolored part of the wall, and lo and behold, there was a cozy little living space. Just big enough for a matress, a small table, and a suitcase.

Baby put a hand on his head and turned to you, her voice calm. "Miss Y/N, would you be okay with staying here?" She asked, her soft green eyes adding a sort of friendly aura to her. 

You tugged on your shirt sleeves, and brushed some hair out of your face. "Totally!" You answered. "I can grab some old table cloths from the back room and i'll have a little bed.".

"How come Fo-foxy gets to have a roomate?" Freddy pouted, coming out from by the wall.

Ballora annoyedly turned to him. "You have Bon-bon Freddy." She hissed. 

"Oh, right!" The bear chirped, hugging the puppet.

You set up your little home, Foxy following you the whole time.  You noticed the cherry smell had returned, but not as strongly as before.

"Uh, hon?" You swore you saw his eyes turn a different color at the nickname. "Why dont you go try and find the light switch?" He gave a salute and scurried off into the shadows, giving you some time to set up your wifi and laptop. 

After a while, you decided to put on some music. You went on YouTube and put on the Nightmare Revisited album, picking the Tiger Army version of the Oogie Boogie song to play first. When you pressed play, you got a popup that read,

- Y/Ns_SPEAKER

You were curious, and chose the first option. You listened for a second before hearing the song blaring a few rooms away.

"FOXY WHAT THE H-E-DOUBLE TOOTHPICKS ARE YOU DOING?" Ballora screamed. Baby was trying not to scream, and Foxy walked in, attempting to hold his mouth closed, the music (now muffled, but still loud) was still playing. He looked at you pleadingly, very much uncomfortable with this situation.

You stared at the animatronic for a minute after you paused the song, and you started cackling. "Ohmygod..." you wheezed. "Foxy im so sorry-" you almost fell off your makeshift bed, but somebody (who you assumed was Foxy) picked you up. You tried to stop, but it was hopeless.  Foxy set you down and sat behind you, putting both arms around you and his head rested on top of yours. You both sat there while you calmed down, his warmth comforting. 

"Your too perfect.." he whispered once it was quiet. And you felt yourself blush as he nuzzled his snout into your neck, letting you rest your head. The constant humming of the machinery all through out the location was calming, and the muffled sound of the other animatronics doing whatever they did at this time just set the mood, leaving you both calm, hapy, and content to just sit like this forever.

You woke up to high-pitched giggling. You opened your eyes just enough to see who was there, and it was Bon-bon from earlier, a few tiny ballerina gremlins, and a weird animatronic goblin. You lifted your arm and pat Foxy on the side of his face, making him sit up slowley, a few gears creaking. 

"What are you guys doing?" You said to the small bots in front of you, rasing an eyebrow

Bon-bon looked at the others, who were still laughing. "Oh, nothing~" he chirped, and he dissapeared along with the other small animatronics.

"Well that was wei-" you had turned to look at Foxy, stretching your arms, when you saw him sitting up with a blank stare, and some sort of voice came from the speaker on his chest.

"Data download in progress. 2% Complete. Technitions stand by for any complications that may occur during download." 

'Data download?' You wondered. Not even bothering to notice that your laptop was missing, along with some of your clothes.

You had walked to Balloras area and found the ballerina. Her room was just as dark as Foxys, but you used a flashlight to navigate. 

"Hey Ballora?" You said to her.

She stopped her dancing for a moment to rotate her head and turn to you. "Yes dear?" She answered.

You twiddled your thumbs together and looked a little off to the side, a bit creeped out at looking her straight in the eyes. "So um..Foxy is 'downloading' something..." You heard the ballerina groan after you said that. 

She patted you on the head, her touch suprisingly gentle. "Dont worry child, this usually takes almost a day but he'll be fine." She assured you, twirling off before you got a chance to say thank you. 

"Well, I guess we're hanging out for the rest of the day!" You said to the still frozen Foxy. 

The voice spoke again, but it didnt add much to your hope. "Data download in progress. 15% complete."

You grabbed a small chess set from your bag and set it up between you and Foxy. You ended up playing chess with yourself most of the day, the voice occasionally speaking.
