Chapter 10

The ride was quiet and very awkward.

"Baby let's dance." Ashley begged taking his arm.

"Okay, catch you guys later." He then walked to the dance floor.

"Let's get something to drink?" Ben suggested. I nodded. We walked over to the table.

"Emma don't you look cute." Sarah smiled.

"Thanks, you do too." She was wearing a dark pink dress strapless dress that flowed. It had a black band under her chest making it simple and cute.

"Do you guys wanna dance with me and Caleb." Caleb is Sarah's date. He has Sandy colored hair and a skinny but tall.

"Um sure." I looked at Ben and he nodded. We set are cups down and headed to the dance floor. Slow song played, Fifteen by Taylor Swift

I set my hands on Ben shoulders while he placed his on my waist.

"You really look beautiful tonight." He whispered in my ear.

"Thanks." I blushed. I looked up at him and saw him looking at something. My eyes followed his.

"Oh my god!" Ashley screamed. Libby had just thrown punch all over Ashley. "You B*tch!" She then grabbed Libbys hair pulling out a hair extension.

"Huh and you saw I'm fake." Ashley taunted.

"Hey you too." Asher greeted from behind us." What's going on?" He then noticed too and started laughing.

"Asher, go do something." I grabbed his arm and gave him a little shove toward the girls.

"Oh no that's not my problem." He shook his head. We looked back at the girls. The where both grabbed on to each others hair.

"Ladies, ladies stop this." Uh oh. Principal Helen. She grabbed both their arms and pulled them apart. "What is going on?" She asked them.All eyes were on them. "I suggest you students to continue dancing unless you all want detentions." Everyone scattered away resuming to what they were doing before.

"Girls these days." Ben chuckled.

"Hey!" I hit his chest playfully.

"Well since I don't have a date I'm gonna find another." Asher grinned and left.

"Listen up teens, this is DJ.G and let's get this dance started!" Everyonce screamed in excitement.International Love played and everyone started dancing to the beat.

I started dancing on Ben while Sarah dance in front of me. We weren't dirty dancing though. Our school has a strict policy with that. After a few songs were done I began getting tired. I turned to face Ben.

"I'm gonna get something to drink. I will be right back." I shouted over the music.

"Okay." He replied. He continued dancing while I got some water from the ice tub.

"So having fun?" Asher asked from behind me.

"Ya, you?" I opened my water and drank some.

"It's alright. I just want to go to Ben party and get drunk already."

"Because intoxicated girls are easier to get at." I laughed.

"Ya they are. Everyone has dates here. The girls want me but their dates glare me down. So its not so much fun." He explained.

"So what are you gonna do about Ashley and Libby?"

"I'm not sure yet, ima are how things play out."

"Why don't you find someone new and who isn't a b*tch." I offered.

"I don't know."

"Well you should. I bet there's a girl out there who will put up with her crap." I smirked.

"I already have one, babe." He winked.

"I meant as a girlfriend."

"You know I don't have girlfriends."

"Ya, but why is that? Wouldn't it be easier with one then playing a lot girls."

"They know what they are getting into. Ya it would but its high school I have time to settle later."

"Your right." I frowned. "Do you need a ride home when this is over?"

"Naw, I will go with Josh."

"Well then I will see you at Ben's."

"See ya." He hugged me and left. I walked back to Ben. I wasn't in a dancing move anymore.

"Hey Ben, I think ima head home."

"It's not over though." He checked his phone. "Damn ya we should go. I need time to set up." We said bye to Sarah and Caleb and headed back to the car.

"So you still going to my part?" Ben asked getting into the passengers seat.

"Ya, I'm gonna change though." I turned on the heat since it was a little cold out.

"Cool, we can go to yours and change then go back to mine."

"Sure, so did you have fun?" The rest of the ride home we talked about the dance. When I got home I told Ben to wIt in the car because my dad would be asleep.

I rushed up stairs and went to my closet. I grabbed a pair of white shirts and a black one shoulder shirt. It was showed a little but if my tummy but it looked fine. I pulled my hair to the sleeveless side and put it in a bun.

I had a few bobby pin with diamonds on the ends. I stook 6 around my bun. It looked cute. I grabbed some heels and headed back to my car.

"Nice." Ben grinned when I got in.

"Thanks, are you parents gonna be there?" I asked while we headed to his house.

"No they're gone for the weekend." He told me. Once we got there. We grabbed all the supplies from the garage and brought it in. We pushed the furniture away so there would be plenty of room to dance. After setting up people arrived seconds after.

"Let the party begin!" Ben shouted. He played the music and people packed the place in mere minutes.
