Can I really do it? Can I really tell him?

"I like y.....your eyes." I chickened out.

"Thanks, I like yours too." He chuckled.

"Actually that wasn't what I was gonna say." I told him. I had to do this.

"Okay then."

"Asher I like you." I rushed out.

"Ya I like you too." He smiled. He didn't get it.

"No...I mean I like you..like you." I looked down not able to face him.

"Oh." Was all he said. It was quiet for a few seconds and i was regretting telling him. "What about Ben?" He asked. I looked up at him.

"What about Ben?" I questioned.

"He's your boyfriend, though."

"And.." I just wanted him to get to the point.

"And I like you too." He said cupping my face.

"You do?" I asked not believing he just said that.

"Ya, but I can't do that to Ben."

"But I like you more." I told him putting my hand over his.

"Well after Ben tells you what he needs to say, and you decide whether you still want me after, then that will be okay." He explained.

"Can't you just tell me?" I asked. It's not like i didn't know.

"It's not my secret to tell."

"Why am I gonna keep dating him if I want to be with you?" I asked.

"I don't want to be the reason you guys break up."

"Fine. So how long have you liked me?" I asked him.

"I think I always did, but didn't notice until that night. I kept trying to get rid of those feelings by telling you and myself we were just friends."

"You should have told me." I smiled. We started skating out of the rink and taking them off.

"Ya, but you have Ben."

"Not in the begining I didn't." I pointed out.

"Ya, but i was just a coward I guess."

"Ya you were." I laughed. "You kept me waiting."

"I'm sorry, but we're gonna have to wait a little longer." He said. We got in the car and he started driving me home. Why does he have to be so mice. If Ben can cheat on me why can't I cheat on him. But no Asher always has to play it fair.

"Thanks for tonight." I smiled.

"No problem, your still my bestfriend no matter what."

"No matter what." I agreed. I kissed his cheek and and he held my hand until we were infront of my house.

"See you Monday." He said when I got out.

"See you Monday." I smiled walking up to my door. I turned around to seer him drive off. Once I walked inside I had my back to the door with a grin on my face. I can't believe this.

"Did you have fun?" He asked.

"The best." I smiled and went to my room. All night I dreamt of Asher. We texted the whole weekend. Ben stopped by and we hung out but he never said anything. I wanted to see if he had the guts to tell me himself.
