Chapter Eight

   Rob kisses Heidi on her temple once more. "Did she hurt you?" Rob asks her, starting to rub her back gently. "No." Heidi simply answers him. "Baby, did she hurt you?" Her boyfriend repeats. "She didn't hurt Rob, I promise." She assures him, kissing her stubble covered jaw.

A small smile appears on Rob's face as he shoves his face into Heidi's hair. "This will never happen again, I promise." He tells Heidi. "No need to worry," Heidi says, holding him tightly. "Let's just forget about this now and see how we feel later," Rob tells his girlfriend, eyes softening.

   Heidi pulls away a little bit, soon kisses his lips. "I'm here for you, always." She tells Rob, feeling both of his hand drop back down to her waist. "Same to you, I'll protect you," Rob says before walking back outside to finish stuff up. Heidi sighs and hesitantly follows.

   It's quiet between the two. Heidi thinks Rob would be panicking is ass off about this, but he isn't. Rob is quiet, just grilling new burger patties. Heidi looks over at him, worry in her eyes. She wants to say something to her boyfriend, but she doesn't know what.

   After a couple minutes, Heidi finished with the fries and put them in a bowl. She cleans up a little and smiles slightly. Looking over at Rob once more, she decided to outside just for a little bit. She walks over to him and gently wraps her arms around his waist.

   "I love you and only you. You're the person I want to love." Rob says, his voice low. "I love you too Rob, I would never hurt you," Heidi tells him, resting her head on his shoulder. Rob flips the last burger and wraps one arm around his girlfriend.

   They like being like this, holding each other. The like being with each other. It's hard separating Rob from Heidi because he just doesn't want to leave her side. Heidi doesn't like leaving his side either, but she knows she has to when she has to go film or go on a business trip.

Heidi rubs her boyfriends back. "I'm sorry about Caroline." Rob tells Heidi. "Don't worry about baby, it's nothing you should apologize for." Heidi says to him, hugging him tightly. "She is a bitch, know that I'll always be with you till the end. I love you too much." She continued.

"Never change." Heidi tells Rob, kissing his cheek. She hears her boyfriend let out a heavy sigh. "Please, don't you ever change." She let's go of him and gets the fries. Turning around, she sees Rob put the burgers on a plate.

   "You can go ahead and go in." Rob tells his girlfriend. "Are you sure?" Heidi asks. Rob nods towards her and she goes inside. Rob sighs. He loves Heidi to much. This was the most unexpected time for Caroline to show up like that. How did she get here? How did she find him?

A knock at the door quickly gets Heidi's attention. She quickly puts the fries down on the counter. Rushing over to the door, she hesitates to open it, in hope that it isn't that psycho ex-girlfriend. Behind the door is Richard with a big smile on his face.

   "Hey Richie!" Heidi says, smiling widely. She moves aside and gestures Richard to come in. Richard has cupcakes with icing kinda messy. "I tried to make it perfect." He stays, looking down at the sweets. "They are perfect. Here, let me take them." Heidi tells him and the two head to the kitchen.

"Where is Bobbo?" Richard asks as Heidi hugs him. "He is finishing up the burgers." Heidi answers her friend. She pulls away, looking over at Rob outside. He walks inside with a plate of burger patties. A huge smile plasters over his face as he sees his friend Richard.

"Hey, Rich!" Rob slightly laughs. His mood immediately after that. He started to be a happy little bean. Him and Richard kept being making jokes. Throughout the evening, the two men kept making Heidi laugh with their silly shenanigans. Heidi loves it when Richard is over because she sees the side of Rob that she first met.
