Just A Normal Birthday Party...

Chapter 7: TheOddOneOut. Literally.

Nate (Natewantstobattle):

"Sigh, oh Nathan, why did you even say that?! Now you're the only one that isn't mad. That's supposed to be good, but I'm lonely now." I think as I walk and look around, hoping to see some faces. Then, I notice some light. I run up to it, and notice that the door has a sign on it. "Main Stage". I open the door, and well and behold, the whole group is there, laughing. Enjoying things without me. The main stage was an auditorium, but with less chairs and an even bigger stage. No wonder they call it the "main stage".

           I turn to leave when I hear a noise from the closed stage. "Welcome one and all to the Musical Madness concert!" I turn back, and the PA system continues. "If everyone would take a seat, we will start soon." The PA speaker was definitely Nova. I was sure of it. I knew she would try to reel me in, so I gave myself in, and sat down in one of the farthest chairs near the door I just entered. Matt, James and Will sat in the front, so they didn't notice me. The lights then dimmed.

The stage lights slowly lit up as the curtains parted. In the stage center stood Nova in a purple dress. A dress that seemed way too familiar.. "That's Jaiden's!!" James and I scream in union as the curtains parted fully. We both stared at each other from afar, but I didn't care that Matt saw me. I quickly ran up to the stage, and jumped on the hardwood and made it to where Nova was standing. She was surprised that I ran this fast, but soon James was up next to me. We both had serious stares on our faces. James spoke first. "How did you get Jaiden's dress?! How? What did you do to her?!" He was angrily talking, but the echo of the stage made it sound like screaming. "Please get off the stage, young men. Or else I will be forced to call security." I was already intimidated by Nova, and was about to turn before I heard James. "Never. Where is Jaiden?" He asked, more forceful. Nova didn't even get angry. "Sir, please go back. Nathan sir, I'm sure you know what will happen if you don't listen." I cringed when I heard the old "Nathan sir" thing, but I grabbed James' wrist. "Please James, she'll hurt you. Let's go..." I tried pulling, but James didn't move a muscle. He kept glaring at Nova, who didn't even care that James was older than her. I let go, and jumped off stage. I don't want to risk losing another life again. Mostly mine.

James (TheOddOnesOut):

I turned to see that Nate was gone. "Scaredy cat," I think as I turned back to Nova. "I said, what did you.." I started when I was interrupted by Nova. "Well since you love being onstage so much. Mr. Rallison, why don't you perform first?"
