I have made every single mistake
That you could ever possibly make
I took and I took and I took what you gave
But you never noticed that I was in pain
I knew what I wanted
I went in and got it
Did all the things that you said that I wouldn't
I told you that I would never be forgotten
And all in spite of you
- Alive, Sia

I looked up at the night sky, my arms wrapped around my knees as I sat on the roof. Steve asked me to join him, Clint, and Natasha on another one of their missions. This time I gladly accepted. I was just waiting for his ok for us to go. I heard someone walk up behind me. I quickly turned around and raised my hand, pinning the intruder on the chimney.

Tony raised his hands. "Easy, Rae Rae. It's just me."

I lowered my hand, releasing Tony from my magic. "What? Are you here to tell me everything is my fault again?"

"Ok, I shouldn't have snapped at you like that. But you have to admit that if you helped, Banner would have been taken care of."

I glared at him. "I didn't go because your team needed help. You had your stupid robot suit. What Wanda did to them...she made them relive their worst fear. She gets in your head and brings out what you feared most. The most traumatic thing you never want to experience. She got into Banner's head. Who knows what he saw to make him go all Hulk like that."

"And you knew this from..."

I gave him a blank stare. "Do I have to say it? I dated her brother before I met you. She got inside my head once. But my magic pushed everything from my head into hers. She saw the darkness. She saw what you saw when you went into the mirror. She saw my father. And trust me, that's one person you don't want to meet."

Tony slowly walked over till he stood next to me. We didn't talk much after that. We just watched the clearing.

"Maybe a little heads up next time we meet one of your exes," Tony joked. I raised my eyebrow at him. "What? Not even a chuckle."

"I don't do funny," I stated.

He sighed. "Fine. And if it makes you feel any better, I want to apologize to you about my comment about your team."

I'm surprised with this. "Did Steve put you up to this?"

"Is it obvious?"

I nodded. "Yep." But at least it's half of an apology. We kept looking at the clearing again. The crickets chirping around us. "If we're apologizing to one another, then let me say that I'm sorry."

He gave me a confused look. "Why do you have to be sorry about?"

I didn't remove my gaze from the clearing. "I lied to you. About the Teen Titans." This has been one of my darkest secrets since we've met. But it's time he knew the truth. "The team and I didn't split up. I left them."

"Left? What do you mean you left?"

I slowly looked at him while crossing my arms, letting out a breath. "After the final fight with my father, most of the team was gravely injured. Half of them were almost killed because of me. That fight haunted me for weeks. I got nightmares from it. A different outcome each night. My friends had to run in while I was at my worst, and try to wake me up. I couldn't let them go through that anymore, so I made the decision to pack my things and leave."

Tony let out a low whistle. "That's pretty rough, but you have to understand that it wasn't your fault."

I nodded. "I know."

"Well, you know, there's always a spot for you here."

"Thanks."

"So, what's his name?" Tony asked after another moment of silence.

"Who?"

He rolled his eyes. "Come on, Raven. It doesn't take a genius to know there's something more to it. And, like it or not, you are a 15 year old girl. Who's the boy you're so willing to protect by leaving your own team?"

I sighed as I gave him a look. "His name...is Beast Boy."
