I woke up the next morning to the constant beeping of my alarm clock. I quickly turned it off and rolled off the bed, literally. I hit my head on the floor and sat up. Now my head hurt but I ignored it. I saw my phone sitting on my dresser when I tripped on a pile of clothes. I fell to the floor hitting my head for the second time that morning. I laid there for a while feeling the bump developing on my forehead. That wouldn't be cute at all.

I finally stood up and grabbed my phone. When I turned it on I had a text message from two different people. The first one was from Ethan. That instantly made me smile.

Good morning sweetheart.

That was so sweet. Most guys won't take the time to do that for a girl, but he did.

Good morning.

How did you sleep?

Pretty good. Although you kept me up all night so I didn't sleep to much.

I'm sorry sweetheart.

It's fine. Talk to you later?

Of course.

After that short conversation was done I checked my other message. It was from my ex-boyfriend, Trey. I don't even know why I still have him in my contacts. We dated for like six months I think and we broke up because he cheated on me with my cousin. Yeah, I don't talk to her anymore.

Sam, I know we don't talk anymore but I've been thinking about you a lot lately. I would really like to see you.

I didn't believe a word he said. All he wanted was sex. Plain and simple. I would never give it to him which is why he cheated on me. I forgot to mention he graduated last year and was now unemployed. Yeah, he's a loser now.

I don't want to see you. There's a reason why we don't talk anymore. We broke up!

please. I just want to see you.

I sent him a picture of me. I thought I would be a smart ass about it. He deserved it.

You know that's not what I meant. But you're still as beautiful as ever. Can we please just start over?
