Colleen got out of bed after a long night of no sleep. She did her usual routine, but put in a little more effort to look nice. Colleen wanted to look nice for Erik even though he has already seen her ugly cry as Miranda.

"I did not know you were going to the Oscars tonight?" Kory said noticing Colleens glamorous make-up and hair.

"A girl just likes to look nice sometimes." Colleen said matter-of-factly.

"Yeah, look nice for Erik!" Kory has seen the way Colleen looks at Erik and as much as she likes to deny her feeling for him Kory knows Colleen better than anyone so he can see right through her excuses. "Honestly, when are you going to be honest with yourself and admit you like Erik."

"There is too much going on to focus on my feelings. Season two is coming out soon and a whole load of other crap."

"I've seen how hard this past year has been for you and I just want to see you happy. Erik makes you happy, Colleen."
Kory was right, Colleen has had tough year and spending time with her family and friends has helped her so much.

"You're right. Erik does make me happy because we are FRIENDS. Just like you, John, and Frankie are my friends." Colleen was trying to prove to Kory that he was wrong even though she knew he was right.

"Yeah but we're gay and he gives you a tingle in your dingle." Kory said giggling, "Colleen, I have been your best friend for forever and I can tell that you and Erik have a very special connection. It is different than any other person you have ever met. I don't want your excuse to not be fully happy to be 'there too much going on' you need to just take a chance and choose happiness."

Colleen was annoyed that he was using her own words against her, but he was right, as always.

"When is this queef even coming?" Right after Kory asked there was a knock at the door. "Spooky." Kory was shook.

Colleen was so excited for Erik to be here. She skipped to the door like a child. "Hey Erik! What in the bag?"

Erik was carrying a brown bag as he walked through the door.

"It's a present for you." Erik had a cute little smile on his face that showed off the dimples that made Colleen's stomach feel funny.

Colleen opened the brown bag and inside was a stainless steal spatula. She looked down at the gift and blushed. To most people a spatula would just seem like a simple gift, but to Colleen it showed how much Erik cared and listened to her.

Yesterday while they were talking, Colleen told Erik how annoying and frustrating it was too cook without a spatula because her old on broke.

"I know how much you love cooking and I don't want you to be upset while doing something you enjoy so I got you a knew one. I hope it's okay." Erik was worried that Colleen wouldn't like that specific kind of spatula because it doesn't have the slits in it.

"It's perfect Erik. Thank you so much." Colleen smiled up at him. They both admired each other for a moment before they were snapped out of each others trance by Kory.

"I'm gonna go outside to tan my tender loins! Byyyee!" Kory pranced outside leaving the two friends alone by themselves.

"Do you wanna help me test out my present and cook dinner with me later?" Colleen knows that Erik is a good cook, but she also wants to spend as much time as possible with him.
