Purple Lips!

I bought a purple liquid lipstick! 

I've wanted to be able to have purple lips for years! Just because I love purple! Like, I want to embody purple, it's just such a wonderful color!

So this is the first time I tried it on last night!

These are from today! The top on is right after I first applied it and the bottom one is after letting it dry for a little while. The lining isn't great, my hands get shaky a lot so it's a little difficult to get it just right.

Now, while the color is really nice, there are some cons. The biggest issue being the smell. It has such a strong...my mom called it plastic smell. It's insane. I have slight asthma, it used to be really bad when I was little but it hardly bothers me anymore, and sometimes if there's a strong enough smell it ever so slightly kicks in. Not enough to warrant inhaler but enough that it's definitely harder to breath and my chest feels tighter. The smell from this is as such. It is so! Strong! And it doesn't really go away when you put it on. So if you have breathing issues I wouldn't recommend this.

I don't know if the smell is maybe limited to this color or specific tube, it might not be an issue with other colors or batches. 

The other problem is that it's a little sticky. Not too bad, but if you have a habit of rubbing you lips together when they have product on them like I do it may be a bit annoying. It could be that the heat today has kept it from drying all the way, it is very hot so I'm going to give it the benefit of the doubt.

Overall I'm happy I bought this but next time I may reach for something else.

Last little thing, I bought a new eyeshadow brush!

This one is supposed to be for putting eyeshadow under your lower lashline, which is good. I've been using my crease brush for that and it comes out thicker than I want. Maybe later I'll do an eye look to go with this lipstick (so purple) and test it out! Gosh I can't wait until I can but another pallet, I want more colors to play with.

EDIT: I forgot to mention that the lipstick is pretty transfer proof. I kissed the back of my hand a couple times to test and not that much came off. Also, when I took it off last night it came off really easily both with and without makeup remover. A plain dry paper towel did the job just fine. 

I will also say that my dad thought it made the rest of my face look very yellow somehow, but that could just be him being weird because my mom said I looked fine.
