It's sunday already. What a boring day, no work, no date and no interesting things to do.
I was lying on my bed when my tummy growl.
"Aish what time is it ? " I ask at the back of my head
I look at my phone to check the time and it is 11:42 in the afternoon
I rose from my bed and put down the other arm rest of my wheelchair and make it steady.
I get some support on my bed and the other one is on the wheelchair. I gathered all of my strength and position myself on the wheelchair. I put back the position of the other arm rest and unlock the wheel.
Unting unti ko itinutulak ang gulong ng wheelchair ko hanggang sa makarating ako sa pintuan. I opened it and the quiet house welcome me.
"Where are the people in here? " I asked at the back of my head.
Sinimulan ko na ulit itulak ang wheel ng wheelchair ko. Until I found my self in the front of the table where I see the picture of mom and tita Neillie.
Their picture are gone. Only our family picture and other friends of mom are left.
I just shrugged my head.
And my tummy growl again.
"Alright Im gonna eat now" i tell to myself
Nang makarating ako sa elevator ay pinindot ko na ang open botton and go inside it.
Naka baba na ako sa first floor ng nag ring ang phone ko.
When I look at it the name telling me that my mom is calling so I immediately answer it.
" Hello mom" i said
"Baby I forgot to tell you me and your dad are going to your lola today we are leaving you for two days is it okay? " she said
"Yes yes yes Im gonna be fine dont worry I can handle myself mom" I excitedly said
"Why do you sound so excited honey? " mom asked
"Nothing mom" I said
"Tell Yaya Vicky to cook you a lunch I forgot kasi baby eh"
"Okay mom" I said and end the call
I smile ears to ears with matching suntok sa hangin. Oh my gosh Im so happy.
"Hija what are you doing? " ate Vicky asked
Natigil tuloy sa ere ang suntok ko. When she look to my hand that was stop in the mid air I immediately put it down.
"Nothing ate Vicky" I said and because of my embarrassment I feel that my cheeks are heating up.
Inhale........ Exhale...... Okay Im back to normal.
"Ate Vicky can you cook me a lunch? "I asked
"Sure hija. What do you want ba? " she asked
"Just a simple sunny side up " I said
Then she leave me. Ganyan naman kayo eh lagi niyo na lang iniiwan yung mga taong may mga kapansanan. Charot. OH MY GOSH Im crazy. What did I say? Oh my gosh what's happening to me.
Then someone hold my shoulders without warning.
"AY KABAYONG BUNTIS" I said
"Hey easy Selena" Vex said while laughing
"I thought you go to your lolo. Why are you here? " I ask
"Aray ah pinag tatabuyan mo na agad ako" she said and wipe her eyes as if naman na may luha. I just rolled my eyes sa kadramahan niya
"Oh here we go again" I said.
"Syempre umuwi na ako, ano kaba Selena" she said and she hampas my shoulder
"I cant understand you" I said and crossed my.....as if naman na ma crossed ko yung legs ko malamang yung kamay diba.
She just pout at what I say
"Im just kidding" I said at hinampas ko ng napaka lakas yung braso niya.
"Ouch ah" she said with matching himas sa braso niyang hinampas ko
"Why so arte? " i asked
"Mana kasi ako sayo" she said
Tinulak na niya ang wheelchair ko hanggang sa makarating kami sa kitchen
"You're not going to eat? "I asked
"Nah Im full" she said
I already finish my food. At sabi ko sa kanya ay gusto kong pumunta sa attic .
"Nga pala anong gagawin mo sa attic? " she asked
"I just want to see some old stuffs" I said
"Like what? " she asked
"Uhmmmmm like pictures, at iba pang mga abu bot" I said
She just oh on what I said.
"What time are we going there? " she asked
"Right now" I said
---
We already in the attic, because it is too dusty in here so we put some face mask.
"Selena look at this" Vex said
She handed me a rectangular box
"Wipe it off first " I said
She immediately wipe it off with tissue. And there is something written on it.
Pictures
"Bakit may mga picture dito? " natanong ko na lang sa sarili ko
"Bakit dito nilagay ni maam yan? " tanong niya saakin
"I dont know either" I said
Pero nakakapag taka naman talaga eh dahil kung hindi naka display nasa drawer ito ni mommy.
"Open it Vex" I said
So she open it
At mga pictures lang na halatang pinaglumaan na ng panahon ang bumungad saakin. Vexie gave it to me
I look at the pictures one by one and I only see my mom, dad and tita Neillie smiling together in the pic.
They look so happy
And there is something that caught my attention.
They look so happy while tita Neillie and Dad were holding a canned beer while dancing, I think
"Vex lets go back" I said
"Sure" she said

I placed the pictures in the table and Vex is sitting on the sofa. When I decided to call my mom.
Ring ring ring
"Yes baby? Do you need something? " she asked
"Mom I found something interesting. I found some pictures"I happily said
"You sound so elated baby. Where did you get that? " she asked while sounding a little bit of nervous
"I found it in the........ "
"Mga anak do you want some merienda" singit ni ate Vicky
"Sure ate Vicky" I said
"Sorry mom" I said
"Where did you get it? " a firm tone of my mom said
Napakunot naman ako ng noo ko problema nento. Bipolar?
"I found it on the attic mom" I straightly said
"Okay I gotta go baby" my mom said without a emotion
"O-okay? " I said
Beep beep beep
"What's the matter with mom?"
I confusely ask to myself
