Chapter 4:Funeral

Tita Eunice and I are walking in the yard of tita Neillie's house.

When we enter their living room, the first thing that will welcome you is the white with a touch of gold Coffin of tita Neillie.

I turn my head to look for Nielle and I see him sitting in the sofa while his head is looking down.

"Tita Eunice pupunta lang ako kay Nielle" I said

"Do you need some help hija? " she ask

"No tita" I said and she just nod

Pinaandar ko na ang wheelchair ko hanggang sa makarating ako kay Nielle. He look at me with those swollen black eyes. The tiredness and sadness can see all over his face and you can tell that he cried for a very long time.

"Selena" he whisper and rest his head on my shoulder, without minding the distance between us. He started to sob and cry silently

"Hush Canielle, just cry if you want I will always by your side no matter what happen"

"Ilabas mo lahat ng nararamdam mo, just cry if it can help you to ease the pain" I said and rub his back.

"Kung pwede lang sana na ako na lang ang umako lahat ng nararamdaman mo Nielle gagawin ko" sabi ko saaking isipan

An hour had past when I see my mom rushing through the door and reaching out for tita's white gold coffin. And when she reach the coffin she started to cry so loud buti na lang at si tita Eunice at Nielle lang ang andito sa loob.

And then a minute have past and dad come in. He is turning his head from right to left but when our eyes meet. He started to walk towards us. I immediately give back Nielle and I a meter distance.

When dad reach me I was Expecting a slap from him instead I only receive a warm hug from him.

Nang lumayo na siya ay unting onti kong nasilayan ang nakangiti pero malungkot na mukha niya.

He hold my wheelchair and started to push it to Nielle.

"Dad what are you doing " I whisper to him but he just smile at me.

Then he position my wheelchair in front of Nielle.

Then he started to talk

"Nielle how do you feeling right now? " Dad ask

"Im okay Dad" Nielle said to Dad Kean

"That's my boy" dad said and pat Nielle's shoulder. I dont understand

"What? " I ask

"Baby, Canielle and I don't lose our communication and everytime we are video chatting when I'm coming home late he always watching by my side and always silent. Baby do you think your mom would allow you if I didn't tell her? " Dad said

"No" I said

"I am the reason why you two still have your communication because if I wont ask your mom for it we will live in the America for the rest of your life" Dad said

Its been 4 years had past since tita Eunice died. And now we are standing in front of tita Neillie's grave after the treatment of my legs for three years.

Mom and Nielle are standing silently in my side while dad is on mom's side.

" Neillie's I miss you, and sorry for everything that I did to you and to your son. I want to turn back the times when we were together" mom said

"Mom yan na lang lagi sinasabi mo kay Tita Neillie baka mamaya nasa tabi na natin si Tita kasi hindi ka parin maka move on" i said to mom

"Shhhhh Selena yaan mo na si Tita" Saway saakin ni Nielle

Hindi na ako sumagot at nang naglakad na si Mommy ay sumunod na kami nina daddy at Nielle.Habang naglalakad kami ay ipinulupot ni Nielle ang braso niya sa beywang ko.

"Buti na lang at nagawa pa nila yang binti mo"Nielle said

"Yah akala ko nga habang buhay na ako naka wheelchair buti na lang at ginawa lahat ni Dr.Smith ang lahat" I said
