§Chapter 7§

Seven
~Birthdays~

Progressing to the 9th month of the year, Hanji cannot wait any longer for the upcoming birthday of hers and what really urged her to be this happy, is that Levi promised to treat her.

The sun was calm outside and the morning was way too beautiful that she can't help staring down her window. The autumn leaves are still falling but half of the field is already full of green trees.

"Mornings..."

Hanji sighed as she was reminded of those colourful occurances that lately crossed her life.

She opened her phone and what greeted her is Levi's message. She opened it and was even more surprise at the text and the time it was sent.

12:00 am

Happy Birthday Hanji! I just don't know what to do so I guess I'll greet you.

I can't really get this. He waited for 12 am just to greet me? And now he's denying it?!

Nahh never mind I should be getting up now... Hanjj thought as she lazily stood up her bed and began her morning routines, but as soon as she opened her door she almost wanted to cry a little. Sunshine was all over her apartment peeking at every corners of her room.

"Morning!"

Levi greeted her, he was wearing an apron and underneath it was his uniform. He slowly shove down the fried rice on two plates while he contrived a very weird smile.

Everything was so perfect, not until Hanji saw his unheartly grin.

"S-shorty? D-do you plan on murdering me?"

"I mean, that....smile stop it.."

"Just...stop it."

Hanji said slowly sobbing in her mind as everything was so perfect but not that grin.

NOT THAT GRIN.

"Just shut up..."

Levi said as his face was back to normal. He's normal bored and a not so interested look.

Levi then pushed out the pan, two fried eggs and some bacons. He made a sandwich earlier, one is tuna sandwich that Hanji likes so much. The other is sausage sandwich for his tummy.

He grabbed two cups after, one that is containing coffee while the other is black tea. Hanji then took a seat as Levi glared at her.

"What...?"

Hanji said as a big grin is plastered upon her pretty face. Her hair were also messy and her glasses are kind of  dirtied and smudged and she was drooling somehow.

"tch."
Levi grunted and ordered her to take a bath first.

Hanji then quietly walk to the bathroom as she pouted at the guy who wore an apron then back to where she's heading.

After Hanji took a bath she finally wraps the towel around her soft and pale body. She caress its smoothness and giggled a little as her hair is as soft and smooth.

She walks out the bathroom, she looks like a goddess for her dark brown hair is cascading down her back and so much of her skin were revealed. Her glasses was clean by now and her lips are a little of pink. Her legs grazes against each other while walking with femininity in her postures.

"H-Hanji...?"

She heard a voice called out to her, it was Levi's. He looked amaze and shocked at what he's seeing. He slowly took off his apron and walk closer to her.

Closer until he grasp onto her arms.

Levi pinned her to the wall. Holding both of her arms with his. Hanji blushed hardly and madly at what the raven-haired guy is doing right now. Her eyes were widened and the shade of red got deeper and deeper in color.

"Le-Levi!?"

She said as the guy infront of her got his face covered in red.

"S-sorry..."

Levi muttered but still not letting go of his grasp only tightening it.

"L-levi it hurts!"

Hanji half exclaimed while she shakes her body to escape his hold. But Levi just did grew aroused.

"Hurry already...the foods are getting cold..."

Levi said coldly as he let go of her. Soon as his hands parted from her arms the towel came undone leaving both of them in utter shocked.

Hanji used her arm and took a hold of her body to cover it.

"Levi! you pervert stop staring!!"

Hanji shouted as she finally took her towel then rushed inside of her room.

And Levi...Levi was left with a bit of guilt but more of affection.

Soon as Hanji wore her uniform she hurriedly ate her breakfast making each move hasty and avoiding conversation from Levi.

She's still blushing madly and Levi got his face unruly full of red. They took the moments far too awkward and a walk to school with no one talking.

"Hey...Happy Birthday..."

Levi finally broke the silence but he chokes just a little still in a blushing mess.

Hanji just blush until she felt warmth from behind her.

It was Levi, he's hugging her tightly despite of their height difference and Hanji can also feel how fragrant he is. She chuckled then thanked her best friend.

Levi leaned in her ears then whisper.

"You are sexy..."

"You sure know how to make me laugh huh?"

Hanji said as she escape the hug to only laugh at Levi's joke but his face shows embarassment.

'I blurted it out...'

was his thought as they walk home together.
