§Chapter 2§

Two
~School Clubs~

Hanji stood up yawning her heart out as she stared at her surroundings. She blinked a few times as her alarm clock rang and echoed all through her messy room.

Papers are flying all around her and clothes hanging up and been threwn to corners. She just stared there lost in her 'who knows where' as the the curtains swayed to welcome a morning breeze.

Until it hit her, she's late for her second day in her second year. She's still lost in summer and her mind had remained there. She seems and obviously had forgotten about yesterday's occurances that she began daydreaming.

She just shrugged the thought off her head as she hurried eating, brushing her teeth then taking a minute-lasting bath.

Hanji sighed as she panicked out her apartment running all the way but bumping all too fast.

She's still outside her apartment until she felt a body she collided onto. 'Smooth...Hair?' She thought as she furrowed her eyebrows when her glasses are nowhere to be found.

She shove her hand on the face of that someone, hearing him grunt, she muttered a 'sorry'. 

As soon as her hand grasp her glasses she quickly put it on. She stood up from falling on Levi. As she finally recognized him.

"You're so short, I didn't saw you hahahaha!!"

Hanji chuckled hard as Levi gave a pissed off face at her. Hanji stared at him until realization hit her.

"Ooohhh, and so...rry?"

She smirk as she started dashing past Levi. He then ran after her still with his expressionless face.

They both made it to school as the posters of clubs in search for new members greet the sight of Hanji. Levi just looked at her still with his grumpry looking face then back at his emotionless one.

"Nee Leeeevvviii?"

Hanji started finding not the short guy but the guard signaling her that the classes will soon start.

"Leeeevvviii~"

Hanji said in a singsong voice as she found him darting his ways from her.

She grabbed his arm then pulled him to their classroom. "You can't fool a four-eyed person!"

Hanji stated as he just sat there behind her seat. "By the way, morning shorty!" She smiled and turned her head after hearing another boring 'tch'.

Their adviser rush in as she stated that there'll be no class the whole day. "Okay class it's because we'll have clubs of your choices limited to two. You'll get an early activity after!"

Their teacher stated then smiled at the students, when they just cheered out of happiness. Nanaba then cried out of joy sniffing a bit. She hugged Miche after then blushed from her sudden move.

Miche just look at her as he can scent her shampoo.

"Moblit!"

Hanji called out her assistant from last year's science club. "Oh you know it!" She gestured then wink at him. Moblit's face then heat up after his classmate's wink. 

"L-levi?"

Petra stuttered a bit on her words as she hand him some papers. "D-do you want to j-join me- I mean the Literary club?"
Petra said as Levi looked at her emotionless.

He then muttered a 'yes' making Petra jumped and blushed hardly as she then avert her gaze from him.

"I'll join too!!" Olou said as he forcefully tugged the papers and then signing it with his name.

"That is not nice Olou!" Petra scold him as he just shrugged her off.

"Oh? Interesting what club is this? Unfortunately I have not found my first trial on other clubs and I want to try writing!"

Hanji beamed a smile as Petra handed her the paper to be signed in.

Moblit then signed in next, obviously following Hanji's perspectives on finding school clubs.

Levi just kept his eyes closed as he reminisce his life in his school last year. That certain place where he found a broken glasses having blue diamonds and aquamarine lining in it's edges.

He remembered seeing a girl about 7 years of age staring shocked back at him. And then-

His eyes fluttered open after the thought that he cannot recall anymore further. The noise around him just stopped and what he felt are millions (exaggeration) of eyes looking at him.

"So the new kid missing his old place?" Someone stated as everyone inside the classroom laughed but some chuckled just a bit.

Hanji took her steps forth the front of the room where their armchairs are facing, then she started: "See you all at Science club!" She happily gazed at everyone, that is when Levi found it adorable.

He just did met his childhood sweetheart. But he don't know she is.
