"Someone wanted something from her of that I'm sure" Jeffrey said

"Well, if you already knew then why did you leave me behind and vanished into the toilet of a petrol pump?" 

"Correction here! I didn't vanish! That was a part of my plan Freund! " 

"Plan? What the hell have you been doing?" Robert squawked.

"Do you consider me a fool Rob? That you think I would disappoint you leaving beside Maria's twin sister and her lethargic boyfriend ?"

"So I was wrong"

"Yes you were wrong in thinking that she was Maria, when only she was her twin"

"What's going on with her and her twin? Where the heck is she now?" Robert wriggled. His body stiffened and recoiled about thinking about her. 

"I lost track of her" 

"What?????" Robert squealed.

"You weren't expecting that I would lose track of her, eh?" 

"But I did, I she has slipped from my hands by tricking me nicely"

"What exactly did she do?" 

"Remember after our chase, we turned around and I had told you she was following us?" 

"Yes, yes, I didn't forget, carry on"

"That was a trap. Although she did follow us but it was momentary. As we came out, there was no sign of her. My freund, Josh waited for her but she didn't come out. Then, to know about what she was up to, I decided to hide in the toilet of the petrol pump, I knew she would follow you once I leave you alone. And as I had thought, that Trickster got her twin"

"I don't get it. She was with me all the time. Then where on earth was her twin and her mad boyfriend?"

"That's something I should have briefed you earlier. Her twin had went incognito just like her. You weren't aware but she was following your car since the begging of your journey."

"But what about her boyfriend? That pathetic moustache! What were his intentions?

"Intentions, you ask? Nothing special"

"Nothing special? What does that even mean?"

"You hear me right, mein freund !"

"That didn't answer my question, DJ"

"Ah! So you finally got the time to call me by my name"

"Now's not the time for jokes Jeff"

"And Jeff" 

"Perhaps, I should call you Det.." 

"Shh..What are you doing? I don't want the locals to hear anything now!" Jeffrey hissed.

"So are you going to tell me? Or should I?" Robert opened his mouth wide. Jeffrey placed his hands tightly on his mouth. "You fool, you'll and us in trouble! Fine, I'll say!"

"I'm waiting"

"He is Danny, her bofriend in pretense.

"Pretense? So, you mean like he was pretending all this time that he was her boyfriend?"

"Will you keep your mouth shut sweetly?" Jeffrey intimidated him.

"As I was saying..." 

A call appears on Jeffrey's phone. "Yes, what is it?"

"Nice way of saying hello" Rob smirked. Jeffrey ignored him. 

"Hmm..Hmm...mmmmhhmmmmm... I see... So... wait ... come again..what did you say?" 

"I know. Hold your horses now!" 

"Rob, we better get going"

"Now, what happened?"

"I'll explain you later..someone's following Danny. Do you recall after her death, we asked him to drive your car alone so that Maria follows him.?

"Yes"

"We are in big trouble. I thought she wouldn't follow him, considering the fact that he has nothing to do with him in her life. But"

"He's next, right?" Robert said

"Not he, you must whose next?"

"What do you mean?"

"It's just not him she's following, it's you and me after him.
