Chapter 4

The next few hours went by in a blur. I stayed in my room most of the day while Niall was out with some friends. Yeah I was kinda sad that he didn't invite me but it's not like i expected him to. We aren't that close and I don't know any of his friends nor do I have friends of my own.

It sucks being alone in the house because I have no one to talk to. Every inch of the house is quiet and there isn't even a dog to keep me company. Since i had nothing better to do I decided to go on a walk around the neighborhood and check out the sights.

While I was walking i noticed a teenage boy, around my age walking towards me. I got stiff and tense because i've never seen him before but once he came into view a little more i noticed a genuine smile and i felt a lot better.

He had light brown hair with curls that fell perfectly. His eyes were blue but not as blue as Niall's, and he had the cutest dimples, which instantly made me melt. As he got closer i noticed a few face blemishes and unruly eyebrows which made me fall for this stranger even more.

Once he approached me, i noticed a teary glaze on his eyes and i could feel my heart shatter. This boy i've never even met made me feel so many emotions in such a short period of time. It didn't look as if he was going to start a conversation so i decided to.

"Hey, you look kinda upset, anything on your mind?"

"Uh yeah, my girlfriend just broke up with me. I don't recall ever seeing you before, what's your name?"

as soon as he said that i choked up and nearly forgot my own name

"(Y/N), What's yours?"

"Harry, it's nice to meet you (Y/N)"

And just like that he walked away, i didn't even get his phone number.

When I finally got back home from my walk, Niall was sitting on the couch while texting someone. As soon as I opened the door he looked as if he was about to have a heart attack.

"I thought you were still home. I almost just peed my pants." I wish I would have gotten his face in camera when he said that. He was so scared yet looked so adorable still.

"I went out for a walk because i was getting lonely in this house by myself"

"I didn't ask but okay"

why was he all of a sudden being so rude to me, I didn't even do anything besides walk in the door.

"Someone's got their panties in a bunch"

"and someone's cute when they're angry" and just like that he smirked and went upstairs
