Chapter 5

Nialls POV

That damn girl, who would have thought that the first girl i develop feelings for would be my almost step sister. to anyone that sounds gross but she isn't blood related so there isn't really a problem.

I just can't help it, from the moment i saw her, she made my heart skip. I try to act cool around her but i feel like a douche most times. i want to tell her how i feel but what if she doesn't feel the same. what if she avoids me after that. i would be heart broken i can't do that. maybe i should spend some more time with her so she will fall in love with me.

I walk into her room and there she is, laying down reading a book. i've never noticed how gorgeous she looks doing literally the most boring things.
"Hey" my voice cracked
"Hi, what are you doing in my room?"
"Can't i just come in and hangout with you"
"Yeah but I cant do the same in your room?"

I just realized those dumb rules I made.

"Change in rules, forget all of them"
"Awe, you've finally decided to be nice to me."
"Don't make me change my mind again."
"Okay, Okay, anything specific you want to talk about?"

This would be the perfect opportunity to tell her how i feel.

"Nope, I don't think that far into the future."
"You don't think at all."

I wish i could kiss her and make her shut up.

"Since you want to be rude, i'll leave"
"No i'm sorry, stay"

She wants me to stay?

"So now you want me to talk to you."
"I never said I didn't"
"Well you make it seem like it."

She got silent, and for a split second I regret saying that.

"I'm sorry if I ever came off that way, I didn't mean to."
"No you're fine, I didn't mean to say it like that."

Everything I was thinking floated away, my mind went blank. I hoped that she knew what to say next. But she didn't, so there we stood, completely silent.
