                                   ~Ruby POV~

After getting ice cream with Carson I go straight home. When I unlock the main door to the house, and open the door. I immediately turn on the lights and put my things in my room. Then wash my hands in the kitchen.

Mom went to work, so she left my dinner in the fridge. I warm the food and eat the hearty dinner. I don’t have any homework, since I finished it all at school.

I wash my plate and clean around the house, just to waste time. When it’s already 8:30 (p.m.) I decided to get ready for bed. I check if all the doors and windows are locked, because I sure can get paranoid.

I do my usual night business, preparation for bed. Brushing my teeth and washing my face, regular hygiene things.

I was going to turn off the light in my room so I can sleep, but suddenly my phone rings. I pick it up, and wonder who is calling me, I check the caller ID, and hope it’s not Carson.

It actually is Dylan, I gladly answered the phone.

“Hey! Dylan.” I greet warmly.

“Hi! I finally have an idea to solve your Carson problem.” Dylan declares directly.

“You do?!” I sound surprised, but at the same time interested in what he has to say.

“Yeah! I know this is random, but calling you over the phone is the only way to talk to you.” Dylan announces.

“That’s true. And I do want to hear what you have to say.” I reply.

“And it’s not like Carson is listening to our conversation right now over the phone, right?” he questions jokingly.

“If it’s Carson, I wouldn’t be surprised if he’s listening right now. And if he is I don’t care (What I’m I saying? I CARE!)” I reply.

“Yeah. So, the plan is quite simple actually. We  just make Carson jealous.” Dylan states.

“Huh?” I reply dumbly. Did I hear him correctly?!

“Make Carson jealous. Pretend we’re going out, be all lovey dovey. It’ll crush him, especially since he’s obviously in love with you!” He says with full of vengeance.

“I don’t think that’s a god idea Dylan. Think about it, Carson has many advantages over us. He can easily make our lives a living hell!” I knowingly say.

“But we also have advantage that Carson can’t control, Reuben.” He replies certainly.

“And what is that?” I question.

“The love he has for you Reuben! We can use that, and make sure he hurts! Just imagine the look on his face, when he sees us together!” Dylan doesn’t sound like himself, if it’s like someone took over his soul.
