Ngl I forgot how I did the character birthday chapters the last couple times abd I don't feel like checking again,,,,,,

Basically she's 15 in the currently published chapters of the book so
And plus, I haven't decide who's gonna die by the end yet,,,, so it might not even be a happy birthday

But either way; can I just say how much I lOVE???? my lil angery green bean baby????(nicknamed coined by KwirtyGames) like she ended up being like,,, a part of me(much like Ivory is),,, or just like, I've developed her to a point that I wouldn't even need to reffer to her written personality most of the time to remind myself as to how she would act in a situation—I just KNOW. Which is what makes it so great
Like, I don't remember if it was an indulgent thing or a thing to make her design more interesting(cuz originally–before I had pens and I stopped coloring my drawings–she just had Black hair with like,,,, gold eyes) when I changed her hair to Black that was dyed purple and based her outfit and stuff around her acidic blood,,, but idk I feel like I made her hair purple solely because of how much I like purple?? And that in itself makes her feel like a fraction of me in a way,,,,,,

Oh,, and I also wanna ponder over her outfit choice??? I honestly dunno why I decided on it but it just felt right??? Cuz she doesn't seem like a person who'd want to show as much skin as she does(especially with all her unspoken insecurities that are a main part in the way she does things),,, not to mention she probably punches every guy that looks at her a certain way, but considering hee clothing se shouldn't be so surprised,,,,,,
I dunno, I guess I've been considering changing it??(except the jacket and shoes ofc) I never really thought about it directly,,,, but I guess it could also be that her outfit looks weird to me without her jacket,,,
If anything I'll probably keep the basic concept(does that make sense??) of the outfit(the short sleeve shirt & skirt w/ leggings/shorts) but change it in a way where it'll look good with or without her iconic™ jacket
I'll probably also get rid of the biohazard symbol maybe just because it's a pain in the ass to draw(it'll be easier to add on in digital, so I'll probably try and figure out a temporary simplified version of it(i.e. just drawing the triangle and a circle or something)
On another topic of similarities of her to me, is sort've herfamoly situation??? Mostly in the sense that her mom is a single mom and her dad sort've left the picture(not completely, but Mari personally doesn't mention her dad ever if it's not necessary), abd then some other stuff that isn't super important,,, oh and also that her mom is based off of my actual mom(like, when I created the info sheet for Mari's mom, I picked a name that my mom liked(Sauda) based on numerolgy stuff(cuz my mom studies/knows that stuff) and I let my mom pick the personality traits and stuff) for the most part, so that's a thing that really connects Mari to me in a way....
But uh,, I think that's it??? I didn't really have anything I wanted to talk about for this, and its super last minute too, so I didn't have much time to write anything(I spent today drawing the birthday drawing)
So yea,,, I'm still slacking in posting those reference sheets,,,, but it'll happen,,,, at least before September.
