Ivory Kilduff — Biromantic Asexual

Cyrus Lincoln — Genderfluid(She/He), Demiromantic/Demisexual

Whoop! The first Pride drawing of the month!

Omg these two look sO NICE in this style wtf

Especially Ivory like omg

The artstyle fits her personality perfectly tbh

I also gave Cyrus a more specific nose too! This is how it would look from a side profile:

(Maybe pointing outwards alittle less but this was just a sketch I made so I knew how I wanted to draw it)

And the reason I gave her that nose specifically is because it kinda reminds me of a bird beak—and Cyrus is a bird humanoid! So O thought it would fit

Now, some notes 'n stuff that I think are important(and might clear up stuff for Ivory, that NeonCat1215 should probably be aware of)

❥Ivory was originally Biromantic Heterosexual, but after thinking about I thought that it didn't fit her at all to have any sort of sexual attraction. Cuz that's just not something that I can see being a thing.

Like,,, this could just be because she only just recently turned 18 but ever since I first created her she's always been a childish and immature character

So, even tho she does have biological kids in the future arc, it's she would only partake in the act of getting—preganant—for that purpose—to start a family.

Not to mention that at the current time the most like,,, physical intamacy she's had has been kisses and hugs and mouth kisses already make her super flustered and awkward so like I think that kissing is the most she could handle pfft

And also for just a reminder: She's been Bi since 8th grade tbh,,, cuz she and Mel lowkey highkey both had small Crushes on Cyrus for like the longest time(to the point Ivory was almost convinced she was just straight up Lesbian)—but then Blake came along and she fell head over heels for him instead

And then there's the whole Floral princess situation and I lowkey have headcanoned how she would act if she was with Calla(floral princess) instead—long story short she's Bi and if she was with Calla she'd be such a Tsundere it's unbelievable.

↳Another quick thing I wanna note, is that I made her shirt the Biromantic Flag, and her skirt the Asexual flag to kinda represent romantic orientation being more about your heart and stuff while sexual attraction is,,,, well,,,, sexual attraction---

❥Uh,,, moving on, Reasoning for Cyrus being Demi is because, she's very like,,, Nervous and Self-doubtful, so she wouldn't want to do anything(non-specific) with someone unless she felt 100% comfortable around them.

So that's why she's super duper sffectionate with Mel; he's that someone that she feels 100% comfortable around. Cuz he supports her and cares about her opinions and thoughts and feelings and health so so much, and there's loterally no other person she'd trust more with anything

Like, she's a really good dancer, but she can never dance infront of anyone because she's constantly worried that she might mess up or she's worse then she thinks she is or that whoever whatching her dance is heavily judging her or that they're telling her she did good solely because of her social status. But when she's dancing with Mel or showing him a new dance she learned, she doesn't feel that way at all—cuz she knows she doesn't need too. Cuz she knows that he's not gonna judge her for making any mistake, and that he's gonna give his honest opinion and help her improve.

Uh, I might've rambled a little to much? Sorry

❥.. For the Genderfluid part, I explained why a while back when I had first properly designed her, but to put it simply:

It's because of her twin brother that died during birth. From being named in memory of him(if he was born(which is gonna be an AU), he would've been named Cyrus, while our Cyrus would've been named Coralline—which ended up being the name of Cy's little sister). Additional reasons is that she kinda has a tiny bit more masculinity in her appearance—from her being really tall, to her really,,, really,,, REALLY think eyebrows, to just her bodyshape and almost never being seen in a dress or skirt, she just kinda felt like a split between female & male. And as well as because at least when she was a kid(this doesn't count for the Kilduff siblings due to their parents having different opinions compared to Cyrus' parents), her mother(her biological one, Julia, not her Stepmother(Cora's birthmom), Pyrrha) always told her that girls—and especially princesses— weren't allowed to play sports or really do anything involving running around and possibly getting dirty. For the first 7 years of her life, she wasn't allowed to talk to any of her classmates unless she was required to.

Luckily her biomom left the kingdom after she and Cy's dad got divorced, which gave Cy the freed to actually socialize.

But she still didn't get to participate in alot of things outside the castle due to her being a princess.

So, when she turned 14, she started crossdressing—she even asked her dad to make a public announcment that if she's ever seen in town, to refer to her as a "Prince Cyrus" and a "He".(tho she also asked that the staff say prince as well, but the pronouns aren't as necessary there)

That's all the stuff I have to talk about I think though

I actually put more thought into these two then I thought I did pfft

But that's just what happens when you love your characters way to much---

Another thing I wanna mention before I go that I forgot to mention in the last chapter(with the Melrus redraws), is that, Cyrus dyed her hair for the first time! Of course with the help of Ivory—who's done it a billion times at this point.

She started dying her hair in March, which is days before the second Melrus redraw is made to take place(since her hair is dyed in that one).

Of course, she only dyed the ends.

Also I noticed tthat her hair looks shorter in this drawing then in the Melrus doodles and to thst I say—the back of her hair is long and she has it tied back around where passes her upper back

But anyways, yea,

If I make another ATU Pride drawing(which I probably will), it's gonna be with Mel and Ebony, since when I think about it I constantly realized their similarities. While the reason I drew Ivory and Cyrus together is cuz their kinda similar and also their besties and I don't draw them together as much.

So yea
