Chapter 9

Lexis POV.

I'm running in the middle of the forest. not quite sure where I'm going. I can here panting behind me, which causes me to speed up.

I wasn't going at full speed to me I was at a slow jog, but to others I would look like I was going full speed as a human.

I looked behind me to see a regular wolf. one that can't change into a human whenever they want.

I slowed down my run into a speed walk and shifted into my wolf and ran along side it.

We started to chase each other and just genuinely play, he nipped at my ankles wanting me to follow him as he led the way to a mystery place.

He led me to a cave. that had a dead deer in the courner. I think he wants me to spend the night with him. Even though I am slightly larger then him.

Though it's a kind gesture I slowly walk further into the cave and lie on the floor. He comes towards me a rests his head on my shoulder and we rest in a dreamless sleep...

Nashs POV

I watch lexi run away in the woods in nothing but her underwear and not even looking back towards me.

Something happened to her that changed her big time it's actually shocking and heartbreaking that's she not even paying any attention to me.

She'll be back.

They always are....
