I got in my house, from New York I was there for a couple meetings until hear someone in the kitchen I grab a guitar and walk in the kitchen to see my mom standing there making cake for me

"hi mom"

"hey honey I've missed you" she walked over to give me a tight hug

"mom I uh forget my suitcase at the bus station and I was thinking if yo-"

"no Betty you are 19 years old you have your own car"

"fine"

i walked out the door saying goodbye to my mom and got in my car.

as I got to the bus station I walked in to the reception

"hi how can I help you?"

"hi im here to pick up a suitcase"

"and your Betty Cooper?"

"I sure am"

she smiled and walked away to find the suitcase.

I turned around and wanted to see the place, I saw a dark haired boy sitting in the corner with all his stuff and earphone in his ears, I decided to go over and talk to to him he seems kinda lost.

"hey" I said the boy who was now looking at me

"what do you want?"

"well you looked a little lost so wanted to help"

"well I don't need your okay blonde"

I got up and was about to walk back to the counter when,

"wait... I'm sorry I just have a lot on my mind"

"wanna tell me about it?"

"im homeless... my mom, dad and my little sister jellybean left and I don't know where... they left because they think I'm a disappointment"

"oh I'm sorry" I placed my hand on his shoulder

"do you want to come home with me?"

"what no I can't d-"

"oh come on" he looked at me with tears in his eyes

"hey what's wrong"

"there's just no-one who cares about me and-"

"but I do now so you're coming with me" I smiled.

he got up and hugged me, it too me by surprise at first but then it felt really good

"im sorry I just felt like I had to"

"its okay??"

"oh right, jughead, jughead jones and you?"

"betty copper nice to meet you" I smiled and got back to the counter with jughead behind me. I got my suitcase and jughead offered to lift it for me.
