The Unknown - 2

"Yeah, I've been busy especially with work. But without my parents, without them this wouldn't happen. They helped me plan and organize this program and please do also thank them, I appreciate it." Jisoo smiled

"Can you please give us a speech?"

"Speech?" Jisoo laughed nervously "Uh.. Thank you all for coming to this event and I know that some of you donated in the charity, thank you."

"I overheard awhile ago that some of the people donated because they heard that you're the sponsor." Jennie says

Jisoo laughed "Looks like I have a fanclub, I have a fanclub?"

When Jisoo said that some part in the audience cheered.

"Thank you once again for coming and for sponsoring the charity Ms. Jisoo"

"You don't have to say 'Ms.' Jennie."

Jennie felt starstruck when Jisoo said Jennie's name. She felt her cheeks warm up.

"I would also like to thank everyone who's in here who donated. With that thank you for coming." Jennie smiled and bowed to the audience.

Before Jennie goes to the backstage she once again thank Jisoo for coming and shook Jisoo's hands. Jisoo stood there blushing which made Jennie giggle while going to the backstage.

The event ended, Jisoo went down the stage to see her parents smiling widely at her.

"You definitely like her." Her dad says

"I do not." Jisoo says but her ears doesn't lie so it became red.

"Tell that to your ears dear. Let's go?" Her mom says smiling

Her parents went out first not missing to hear Jisoo cursing at her ear.

Nothing much happened when they got home, Jisoo went straight to her room and her parents prepared themselves to go to work.

Jisoo is playing a game on her console, while playing she heard a knock on the door.

"Jisoo eat lunch first." Her dad says

"I'll be down in a minute."

Jisoo went down with sadness in her eyes seeing her parents go to work without rest.

"We're going to work now." She heard her mom say

"This early?"

"We're sorry dear." Her dad says hugging her

"We can't leave the company running without managing all the workers, some of the just slack off here and there." Her mom says

"I understand." Jisoo says smiling

"We'll make it up for you, bunny." Her dad says pinching her cheeks

"No, it's okay, I'm okay. Don't overwork yourselves okay?"

Her parents nodded and they kissed Jisoo on her cheeks.

"Bye, drive safe." Jisoo says waving at them. When the car is nowhere in sight she closed the door and a tear unknowingly dropped from her eye. "He called me bunny, I thought he forgot about that nickname?"

Jisoo wiped her teary eyes, and she proceeded to the kitchen eating her sadness out. She washed the dishes and went back to playing the game. Later on she felt bored playing the same game over and over again so she took her phone out, opening her twitter account to see that she has many notifications. Most of them are from her fans, pictures and letters saying how she looks like a goddess and even acts like one. 

Jisoo wanted to tell everyone the truth but she realized that the risk level is high, she doesn't know what will happen in the future and what it holds. It's not like Jisoo doesn't really want to sponsor a charity but she wants to tell everyone that it was her parents who sponsored the charity not her.

Speaking of the charity, what was the name of the girl? Her last name is Kim but I forgot her first name but I know it starts with letter J.

She mumbles every name she can think of that starts if J.

"Jimin"

"Jamie"

"Je... nnie, Jennie that's her name."

She searched  if there's an account named Jennie and gladly there is. "It's her."

Jisoo was hesitant if she would view the girl's profile or not. But  she 'accidentally' clicked the profile. She saw Jennie's last tweet was just last night.

She stalked and stalked until she received a message from an unknown number.

Unknown: Anyeong Jisoo

JisooKim: Who's this?

Unknown: It's me Jennie Kim, remember me? From the charity you sponsored?

JisooKim: Oh yeah, about the charity. My parents put my name instead of theirs so it's all their work not mine, I'm sorry for lying. I'm also surprised that you called my name. My parents didn't inform me.

JennieKim: Your mom told me before the event, she told me that they wanted you to socialize with people and they think that this is the only way. And she didn't tell me that you weren't informed.

JisooKim: They better give me an explanation when they get home.

JennieKim: You freezed at the stage. It was very funny, holding my laughter is a very hard job.

JisooKim: haha very funny, at least it already ended.

JennieKim: Oh and by the way your dad told me that we should hang out sometime. Do you have anything to do tomorrow?

JisooKim: In fact I'm on my semestral break I could at least 'socialize' with people.

JennieKim: So where'd you wanna go?

JisooKim: Anywhere

JennieKim: There's this carnival I know but the question is are you up for it?

JisooKim: As long as you pay for me ;)

JisooKim: Just kidding. Sure I'm  up for it, pick you up at 2 pm?

JennieKim: Do you know where I live?

JisooKim: Of course

JisooKim: Not

JennieKim: Your mom told me that we're at the same block, so do you know the convenience store right down the street?

JisooKim: Be more specific

JennieKim: The 24/7 store

JisooKim: What store?

JennieKim: Do you even get the chance to go out and walk at the street? There's only one 24/7 convenience store in our block

JisooKim: Geez I was just kidding

JennieKim: Gosh you're making my head ache

JisooKim: Let's meet there :)
