I met Ethan in the library. He had Wuthering Heights out and was pretending to read it. Truth is I felt like he was about to marry the female version of Heathcliff. She wanted to torture everyone around her.

He greeted me with a wide smile as I entered and sat next to him.

"Everytime I see you, I'm more and more upset that you are taken."

I smiled.

Truth was that I wasn't taken. Hell. Amir hadn't gotten back with me. He had said his truth however. He had said how much he cared about me and that was enough for me to not deny...even to a fine ass guy like Ethan...that I was taken.

"I need help finding him."

"Well, I got these," he stated and then threw them over to me, "They are pictures of Amir."

I looked over at the table and looked through the pictures. I looked through them over and over trying to see what he meant. The pictures were clear as day. The area was somewhere in India. I didn't know where.

"You found him?" I asked.

"Yeah, I got a private investigator to go looking around. The natives feel more comfortable speaking to someone that looks more like them," Ethan stated, "So they let me know here he is."

"Where is he?"

"He's in this run of the mill motel called the Dun. Its 15 minutes from here. I took the liberty to call a cab. He's waiting right by the ports. You better hurry."

I was excited.

I was more then excited actually. My hands kept shaking as I held the photos of the man that I loved so much.

All I could think about was finding Amir. It was the only thing that mattered to me actually. Patience wedding was coming up any day now but the only thing I could think about was Amir. I began to miss him.

His alluring smell.

His deep voice.

His intense stare.

I felt so completely lost without having those things near me. I couldn't stop smiling. I ran to the door but then turned around. I had completely forgot about Ethan...

"God...you didn't have to...how can I thank you?"
"Nothing."

"I have to repay you for this."

"There is one thing that you can do for me," Ethan explained to me, putting Wuthering Heights aside.

"Anything."

"One last kiss."

He's serious. I feel awkwardness creeping through my stomach. Ethan is so...attractive. I always thought he was, but the way he treated me before made me think that he wasn't attractive.

"You are marrying my sister," I told him.

He took a step closer, "You know what you did to me. All those times I overreacted to your presence. It was all because I was really taken by you. I never met someone that was so beautiful inside and yet their inside matches their out."

"Don't patronize me Ethan."

"I'm not, I'm being serious," Ethan explained, "I know that it's impossible. You know...us. It's whatever I guess. I just want one last kiss."

He put on an innocent face. It was real innocent. I had seen him put on the same face for Patience before. That didn't change the fact that I did owe him. He didn't have to go out and find Amir for me.
